In general, do you guys like PGM or Tarmac better? Is it because of quality? Price? Let me know!
I haven’t checked out PDM, but I have been following Tarmac works for a long time I own a few, I like them for the price and the great customer service and the shipping time. But from your video I think the quality is MUCH better and I do think if they are a decent price for the amazing quality I think they might take it.

@@modelcarshouston after seeing this, I looked up PDM stuff and they are a little too expensive for the quality, but don’t get me wrong they are HIGHLY detailed and worth every bit of credit I can give them.

I like both PGM and Tarmac. I have the PGM Supernine but I will also buy the Tarmac one. PGM has a better shape for the rear part but Tarmac a better shape for the front part. For spoiller, PGM has a better shape. For side headlight, PGM is better with a transparent plastic instead of painted work for Tarmac. But for headlight, Tarmac is better as I prefer yellow to orange as it better matches with the blue body color. Also, I prefer the blue color of Tarmac, which is a bit paler than PGM. PGM is good in the front and back plates making it more realistic. So I need to buy both of them. Overall, I like PGM as its QC is much better and its open mechanical parts, which justifies its higher price. For Tarmac, always have QC issues with its the paint job on the car body. I guess some of its factories do not have a good environment to keep away from dust during the painting process.
I would definitely go for PGM because of the quality and details. I probably will never buy another Tarmac model since all of my orders have paint chips, broken wipers, scuffed windshields straight out of the box. However, I did get them at a good price, with full refund (and I did not have to return them) But still. As my collection grows, TARMAC will probably be in a corner ahead of Hot Wheels so viewers won't look too close haha.
100% till this day their QC still is lacking unfortunately.
It goes like this. Shitty Hot Wheels or way better Mini GT? Mini GT or more details with Tarmac Works? Tarmac Works or PGM with opening parts? Each opponent cost more money. However, Mini GT and Tarmac Works are sexy as fuuuuuuuuuck.

I don't mind spending 100.00 for a detailed 1/43 model like, looksmart. But, for a 1/64 model, even if it opens NO. I'll take the Tarmac Works Hobbie, every time. In fairness, I would never by a RWB or Liberty Works or any other modified car anyway. I also stick to GT3, GT4 and prototype race cars. Have plenty of good Tarmac Works in 1/64.

THe more features, parts being added, the more pricer it gets. :( If MINI GT adds opening features, that would be amazing (prob be like $14.99 isntead of 9.99..? )
There are SO many features that go into the final pricing of a collectible car. Even opening compartments don't mean the BEST value.
The reason PGM seems to go WAY up there is because they combine opening parts AND highly detailed quality.
Ultimately it boils down to preference for what you like and go with that.

Do they roll? The PGMs
@@emmanuelbaezcarventines8417 generally sort of, but they’re easy to take apart. I’ve made all mine roll really well really easily

Depends on cash,
Both are highly detailed, ultra premium. But PGM beats Tarmac any day :) Although it costs almost 2x the Tarmac. If i got extra cash, I'll pick PGM else Tarmac.
For sure! Definitely depends on each others position financially but BOTH are GREAT models!
I am torn. I don't like the door gaps in my models, but PGM is clearly a little better detailed. However they did miss the wipers so that bothers me.
Yes, the missing wiper bothered me as well. I honestly think they forgot. I'm sure if they were on top of it they would have added it. I mean after all that work not put a wiper? haha

Yes, PGM is licensed.
The Tarmac version has removable turbo fan disks up front. Are the PGM ones removable?

When swiched from hotwheels to tarmac I get really impressed but after get my first pgm i was shocked about its details and quality. Now I dont even look at my tarmacs :P

Does PGM have metal base? And does it roll well? Also does Tarmac works have metal base?

with PGM's going for 69.99 and up and Tarmac works for about 25.00. I will take Tarmac works..
The difference in cost is the additional opening components and details.
It's weird how both models have their windshield wipers going opposite directions.

Super nine is currently for sale in new zealand crashed. How did it end up in nz? Or is it a replica?
It was actually sold. I'm not sure where it ended up after this diecast set was released.

PGM all day if you have the cash. Tarmac also looks to be slightly different on some of the scaling.

Yes sir! For sure the price makes a difference.
I like the P.G.M. better because of all the extras. Opening die cast, better detail, overall presentation is intense and more limited.
I have also been informed that the P.G.M. version is A LOT more accurate to the real car than the Tarmac version.
