I moved out of state Covid hit and so found real churches online and repented and have been changed . Jack Hibbs , Tom Hughes a few others. Jack has an outreach to help set up home churches where they watch his sermons then have Bible study . Will become an option as more Churches go woke.

The enemy is so clever and effective. It took me quite awhile to figure out how to love and encourage others while rejecting their sin. (And I am fairly wise!) That confusion is real and the clarity you both offer is so needed!
This is powerful testimony and 100% true. As someone who used to be heavily involved with the Presbyterian USA church (ultra liberal lgbt friendly branch of the Presbyterian church) everything mrs butterfield said is so accurate to what is taught and practiced in the ‘liberal’ segments of the church. As someone who sought out such a church because I was really struggling with if I was transgender they were very welcoming on that side but always very weak or negative in regards to actual biblical truth…I thank God for giving me the insight to leave that heretical church when I did and the many voices of truth out there (especially on RUclips) for steering me back to the true teachings of Christ and the need to die to my old self, repent and walk anew in Christ. I still struggle with temptation, especially in the area of wanting to look and feel feminine again, but since I fully returned to Christ, I can see where I could stumble and know that I’m meant for better things than to be of this world.
The more I listen to the testimonies of those who have come to Christ after being wrapped up in secular academia, the more I realize just how wicked and perverted Sigmund Freud really was. Breaks my heart that people anchor their minds to him and not to the mind of Christ. Freud is the definition of someone with a beguiling spirit. He sprinkles enough truth in it to make it attractive before he ensnares you with the lie. Sounds like a familiar tactic of a certain serpent we read about in Genesis.

Therefore, we should actually derive our theory of mind (as Christians) from God's word. But notice how that view is maligned. Meanwhile, the culture uses psychology as a cudgel the way they caricaturize traditional Christians as using the Bible (against) them... when really it's against sin. And it's for our benefit.

I’m a retired teacher, saw what was happening and warned many Christian parents to get their kids out of public school, sometimes even universities. All refused and some even got angry with me. I’m sure they see more clearly now, but I hear there are still some pastors saying, “if you take your children out, you’re removing the light from darkness”. I think children are too innocent to protect themselves from this. It is our job as adults to protect them.

My husband and I have been church homeless for some time now. I miss worshiping with fellow believers in a congregation. I have had the pleasure of visiting Rosaria and her husband in their home. They are the real deal. I am a born-again believer who knows the struggle with same-sex attraction post new birth. I was born-again in 1966 at the age of 20. Though I was attracted to men from an early age, I never fully admitted it to myself until I was born again. And I didn't know what to do about it. Because all that I heard from the church was to condemn homosexuals and using derogatory words to describe them - never that a Chrisitan could struggle with the sin. Now a Christian, the church had become my lifeline to God. And I didn't want to risk rejection should I seek help. So I tried hiding the attraction from the church, privately praying for God to heal me. The healing never came. Eventually, I gave up looking for it and lived as a prodigal for eight years in Chicago's gay community- but Jesus rescued me out of the "far county," because I was genuinely born again (John 6:39-40). Though back in the church and living apart from the gay community, the attraction persisted. Desperate to know why and what God expected of me in dealing with it, I turned only to God and His word for the answers. Finally, I understood what I was looking for was in Romans 6, 7, and 8 and Galatians 5: God's blueprint for a believer's personal sanctification - a command not an option. Be holy as I am holy (1 Peter 1:6). I've written a book about my journey and where I am today, "Glorified Rubble: Rebuilding the True You." I've dedicated it to Rosaria. A modern-day Deborah! And I pray Jesus will use the book to call prodigals back home!
It really bothers me that people define their entire being by their sexual proclivities then demand that they not be identified or singled out by their sexuality. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. Acceptance by the church of depraved behavior is just such a sin.

( 1 ) Transgender identity is usually a neurobiological condition and not a role that is chosen fashionably . It is largely a congenital abnormality wherein there is a misalignment of one's physiology with their psychological disposition , attributable to a chromosomal defect . Consult the clinical data . ( 2 ) Rosaria says at about 12:10 that , " LGBTQ+ is the reigning idol of today.... " . Well no , it demonstrably isn't . The reigning idol of today is in fact the same as it has been since the " fall " of humankind and our ensuing alienation from God -- egoism and self-centredness . And this moral corruption , not LGBTQ+ culture , is the root cause of the globally endemic social ordeals that afflict humanity . Warfare , tyranny , persecution , poverty , injustice etc . ( WTPPI + ) None of these pervasive evils are generated by the LGBTQ+ ethos . So that is hardly the " reigning idol of today" . My above dialectic challenges are meant in a spirit of charity , for I'm assuming that Rosaria conscientiously believes those things that she's saying . My hope and prayer is that she reconsiders .

I have had the pleasure of visiting Rosaria and her husband in their home. They are the real deal. I am a born-again believer who knows the struggle with same-sex attraction post new birth. I was born-again in 1966 at the age of 20. Though I was attracted to men from an early age, I never fully admitted it to myself until I was born again. And I didn't know what to do about it. Because all that I heard from the church was to condemn homosexuals and using derogatory words to describe them - never that a Chrisitan could struggle with the sin. Now a Christian, the church had become my lifeline to God. And I didn't want to risk rejection should I seek help. So I tried hiding the attraction from the church, privately praying for God to heal me. The healing never came. Eventually, I gave up looking for it and lived as a prodigal for eight years in Chicago's gay community- but Jesus rescued me out of the "far county," because I was genuinely born again (John 6:39-40). Though back in the church and living apart from the gay community, the attraction persisted. Desperate to know why and what God expected of me in dealing with it, I turned only to God and His word for the answers. Finally, I understood what I was looking for was in Romans 6, 7, and 8 and Galatians 5: God's blueprint for a believer's personal sanctification - a command not an option. Be holy as I am holy (1 Peter 1:6). I've written a book about my journey and where I am today, "Glorified Rubble: Rebuilding the True You." I've dedicated it to Rosaria. A modern-day Deborah! And I pray Jesus will use the book to call prodigals back home!
It really bothers me that people define their entire being by their sexual proclivities then demand that they not be identified or singled out by their sexuality. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. Acceptance by the church of depraved behavior is just such a sin.

I may not have the benefit of having scholarly status or academic accreditation like Rosaria , but I can nevertheless easily recognize ignorance and misinformation when I hear it .
( 1 ) Transgender identity is usually a neurobiological condition and not a role that is chosen fashionably . It is largely a congenital abnormality wherein there is a misalignment of one's physiology with their psychological disposition , attributable to a chromosomal defect . Consult the clinical data .
( 2 ) Rosaria says at about 12:10 that , " LGBTQ+ is the reigning idol of today.... " . Well no , it demonstrably isn't . The reigning idol of today is in fact the same as it has been since the " fall " of humankind and our ensuing alienation from God -- egoism and self-centredness . And this moral corruption , not LGBTQ+ culture , is the root cause of the globally endemic social ordeals that afflict humanity . Warfare , tyranny , persecution , poverty , injustice etc . ( WTPPI + ) None of these pervasive evils are generated by the LGBTQ+ ethos . So that is hardly the " reigning idol of today" . My above dialectic challenges are meant in a spirit of charity , for I'm assuming that Rosaria conscientiously believes those things that she's saying . My hope and prayer is that she reconsiders .
I suppose what you mean by “ignorance and misinformation” is just a viewpoint that you disagree with? Data by itself means nothing, even if studies are taken without bias (which is hardly to be expected). You can’t interpret data without some a priori assumption. This goes for your first point. The second point is entirely your personal opinion, so I have no idea how it shows that Dr. Butterfield is particularly ignorant.
You seem to be insinuating that being LGBTQ isn’t a problem when it-might I say, “demonstrably”-is. War and tyranny are problems too (as everybody knows, and as Dr. Butterfield is no doubt aware of) but it’s not everybody’s job to deal with every problem, and denying the validity of the an argument with distracting tactics like “what about x” is quite dishonest

I truly love the truth that no matter what, we have a choice to have sex with whoever we want, drink as much alcohol as we want, eat as much food as our stomachs hold, but it hurts at some point. All sin does. Thank God or we'd be in ruins! Tap out when God taps on our heart's. Jesus can take us through the rest.

@@sherrypowers2059 I know you mean well with your words, been there done that, …I was an evangelical devoted Christian for 30+ years…I know the Bible, prayed,fasted,churched non stop etc etc…but I have deconstructed my former beliefs and now see all the harm and the cult of Christianity it became …I am not afraid of a “loving God” who would harm me for not loving it back…I love myself to much to be afraid of the religion of men
The Dead Sea Scrolls help us verify the accuracy of the Old Testament and there are many extant copies of the New Testament that verify those writings. Trust The Bible over any man, yes....but The Bible's authenticity can be trusted.
@@Tawadeb the problem is that each man’s spirit or mind breathes on its words ….some with unholy intent, who interpret the Bible with “evil”- working darkness and blind spots in the mind. And then there are others who interpret it with more truth or light and with what you call Holy Spirit …they recognize that the letter( written words-Bible) of the law kills- it destroys the world around them because its used to cast eternal judgement on creation….religion wants to destroy love with laws…but it can’t…though it continues to try and eliminate “bad-unbelieving” people with manmade doctrines for ultimately not saying a sinners prayer or confessing the Christian god exists or not giving the story book Jesus his due as a real character and literal savior…You and me are to become like Jesus metaphorically and internally discover like Moses that- I Am that I am
