ToBeContinued here. It is based on Paro Taktsang in Bhutan (also known as the Tigers Nest Monastery). I spent most of the time working on the building, only had a couple days to do the interior or habitats. Great work to all of the other builders, so much creativity!
Have you ever visited that place? As I googled, there is a strictly rule that not allow you to take any photo inside the place, and google really have no photo about the area inside the building. I heard that there are 9 sacred caves in there, some for meditating, and one cave is sealed most time only open in one month of the year
Omg, I can’t believe I made it to the top 5!!! This is my first contest and I am really impressed by all the creations. Congratulations to everyone, you are all awesome builders. It certainly is inspiring seeing such amazing builds
OMG I finnaly made it to the top 5 (and to the thumbnail !). first, congrats to everyone, they all did something really beautiful. Also, some clarification about my build, I know there is a long distance to walk, but it's a trail, so it's the point ^^. I wanted to do something where people will come, make a long (athletic) walk in nature before behind able to see the tigers (it was my way to make sure there were not too many people). Also, the education center is actually the big cat church, I choose to do something that was on the whole genre panthera instead of only the tiger (by the way, it's a correct phylogenetic tree on the wall). And the part over the staff building is just a big staff room. Also I try to made thing inspire by the russian architecture (siberian baroque for the church and constructivist for the staff facilities) and you can show it either with snow or no snow (I think it's better without it, but it's ok with it, that's why I saved it just when the snow was stopping). Anyway, congrats to everyone and thank for making this contest, it was fun (even if I kinda hurt my hand on the folliage ^^)

Like ToBeContinued said, I also spent hours...and hours... and hours... on the buildings and didn't have much time for the habitat/foliage by the end! This is the largest habitat I have ever done and I bit off slightly more than I could chew, but overall I am pleased with what I learnt and did. Well done to the other amazing entries and also can't wait to see Top 10, there were so many beautiful creations and it was extremely hard to vote! Regarding the staircase leading down to the habitat area(!), yes this probably doesn't make much sense, I mainly did it for aesthetic reasons to break up the balcony, but rest assured, the tigers cannot access that part because there is a cliff :) It is meant more as access for the staff. The whole build was inspired by a tiger reserve in India (with a jeep tour) called Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
At 19:59 you can see they terrain painted a trail where the tigers pace in the habitat I think! How did they do that?! So cool. It's the small details.
Oh man these indoor spaces are incredible! I think areas like this are my weakness, I struggle to conceptualize realistic architecture and tight indoor decoration. I will use the signage techniques demonstrated by Ria in 1st place, using props to "block out" and isolate parts of the education screen to spread out the info across multiple boards is genius!
for the education room at 33:13 now that we got the new update it would look amazing if people would actually sit there and an educator would stand at where the board is
It would be beautiful to recreate the Cabarceno park, it is a beautiful natural reserve in Spain to recreate, with forests, mountains, roads ... Full of nature, but urbanized. I recommend that you take a look😜 Greetings from Spain, I love your videos (and so I practice English xD)
