Keene NH in the Civil War: Part I

This video was made for the 8th grade American history classes that I teach in Keene, NH. It is meant to get the students thinking about the Civil War through the lens of their local community. As we proceed through the unit, we will examine how people from Keene participated in, or were affected, by the major turning points of the war.
