I have been listening to Gypsy Jazz for years, and it doesn't happen often that I hear somebody I haven't heard before that grabs my interest. Adrien has done so.
He is a genius.
Ce que j'aime dans le discours d'Adrien, c'est que c'est moins dans la tradition par rapport à ce que font d'autres spécialistes de la guitare manouche. Plus de notes altérées, de concepts jazz, parfois même une touche blues/rock...on sent qu'il a intégré des éléments qui lui plaisaient de différents styles, pour en faire le sien au final. Il en ressort bcp de musique, le tout exécuté avec bcp d'aisance technique. Bravo !

I was traying to play the chords over it, and in the middle it is really hard, amazing how Adrien """lost""" the tempo and harmony, but not.
It's a very strange thing to wander in a desert for years and years and then wake up in a tropical forest with waterfalls and bright singing birds.
