You should’ve visited the New Compton High School currently being built. It has “The Andre Dr. Dre Theater”. Literally right down the street from the court house!
The truth of the matter is there’s more crips, bloods, Latino, Asian etc. gangs than ever before, you not gonna see no gang member out there exposing them selves. You gotta know some one that knows someone to get to go out.
Yo vivi en la Campton y Florence en 1993. Estaba peligroso. Muchas muertes especialmente vendedores ambulantes. Y desde 1995 estoy en santa Ana ca. 👍👍👍
Man, Compton is still active. The gangs are still there, black & brown. And Compton does have a big black community still but the Mexican population is bigger. The food vendors know it’s dangerous, their constantly getting robbed but they need money, so they still do it. Next time go into some hoods and ask if it’s still dangerous. Just saying.
I lived in Compton as a kid , on peach st . Compton is scary it might not look like it but its dangerous. Just need to know where not to be at night and even day time.
With all due Respect, but it appears you didn't do your homework regarding Compton. Them videos your talking about are "OLD" and even back then there was More Raza than one might expect. Also ... at Night the atmosphere in all neighborhoods change. Compton has it's Gang Life if you're looking for it.
It’s still ruthless you just aren’t in the mix with the gangster stuff and at night it’s more active & everyone keeps to themselves and the grimly stuff stays more low key
I work as a Handyman all throughout areas of LA county, SB county and OC county. I've worked in Compton quite a few times. You'll be surprised that some of the houses if not many are upwards of 750k and 1 million ~~ not sure why people sit here and try and paint this bad picture. If your looking for trouble though you'll surely find it imo.
There's a dicho (saying) in Spanish that goes, no le busques tres pies al gato. In other words, don't push your luck. Compton may not be as dangerous as it used to be but doesn't mean that you shouldn't be mindful about where you go and not look for it because if you do it'll find you. Trust what the locals are telling you, mind your business and no one will mess with you.
Nowdays mexican cities and hoods are ten times more dangerous and scarier than compton was. I grew up in the early 90s compton an area that was still moslty black but hispanic population was growing fast and gangs were becoming more violent and drugs fuled that violence for turf contrast to mexico in the early 90s was much better but that has reveresed and now mexico is seeing levels of violence i havent seen since 2008 to be foreal. It is unfortunate i have families on both side and its been a rollercoaster of emotions seeing how it ovee there now and hownit used to be in compton
Once real estate prices went up the rif raf moved out to palmdale, victorville, and riverside. However, if you are looking for it, you will find it. There are pockets in compton and south central that you do need to be straight.

Pop up vendor saying its mostly working people, and that compton gets terrible rep. Girl saying its mostly latinos now. But overall the Mexican taco truck owner saying it depends on your outlook for the most part in most places; there’s good and bad.
16:02 That's on Compton BIvd. I used to go to that same building to check in with my P.O, Once Upon a Time. I'm so glad to have ✂️ that tail. Them days are done and over with.
You should’ve visited the New Compton High School currently being built. It has “The Andre Dr. Dre Theater”. Literally right down the street from the court house!
"Nothing like Miami! WHAAAATTTT!!!!"😂😂😂
80s and 90s was lit. Youre bout 30 years late. Still the hood tho. 💯🇲🇽😎
People associate Compton with the ghetto when it far from that. Big houses with front and back yards, agriculture, commercial, you name it we got it.
LA has Mexicans 😱😱😱 also word of advice LA ain’t Miami
Can’t be walking around asking everyone “where you from”
I'm still tripping you're in California and not Columbia or something. Dude..head up to Sacramento and be our guest. Have a great day Volpe! 👊✌️😎

Homie at the bus stop a O.G PERO LOL😅😅
Volpe I see you found your new “tour guide.”
The truth of the matter is there’s more crips, bloods, Latino, Asian etc. gangs than ever before, you not gonna see no gang member out there exposing them selves. You gotta know some one that knows someone to get to go out.
🧢
Yo vivi en la Campton y Florence en 1993. Estaba peligroso. Muchas muertes especialmente vendedores ambulantes. Y desde 1995 estoy en santa Ana ca. 👍👍👍
He probably meant San Bernardino not riverside
Riverside is in San Bernardino
@@steveb7600it’s the IE but San Bernardino is a tough city especially compared to Riverside
@ talking cities not counties
So crazy that I stay less than 5 minutes from here.😊
Any area that has hard working people move in it gets better, the place looks totally different now
Try ojos locos @ Plaza Mexico in Lynwood Ca.
Your painted beard had us 🤣😂🤣😂🤦🏽♂️
the media is afraid to say that the weather in S.Cal.is 1000 times better than Florida
Wake & Bake 🔥 🌲 about enjoy this vlog I send mines Primo primo from Northern California yeeee
Fade is crispy homey!
Volpe, what do you think of Perla, shoot i mean compton vs oakland? LOL
Blacks mostly west of down town. East Compton is Mexico
compton has calm down so much. Just more crack heads everywhere.
You should really do Pomona ca, not to far from where you are. Cruise down holt blvd and let the film roll 🎥
Damn Volpe hitting up Atlantic in E. Rancho Dominguez! Up the street from the 90805 NLB.....!
LYnwood in the house G.
Lady at the bus stop, shopping cart collector guy, agua fresca guy. These are the last people that know anything about the streets of Compton 🤦🏽
I lived in Compton as a kid , on peach st . Compton is scary it might not look like it but its dangerous. Just need to know where not to be at night and even day time.
I always heard that place was known to be ruff, I kinda stay out of it, stay safe Brother 👍👍🙏🙏🍮🍮😎😎
These people can't do anything
WTH vlope is finally in LA!!!! Come to the valley!!
With all due Respect, but it appears you didn't do your homework regarding Compton. Them videos your talking about are "OLD" and even back then there was More Raza than one might expect. Also ... at Night the atmosphere in all neighborhoods change. Compton has it's Gang Life if you're looking for it.
Compton is coo bro. It’s south central. Watts them area are out of control. But Compton is a nice place. Good food. Industrial
Had I known you were going to be in LA, I could have been your personal driver taking you wherever you wanted to go on the house!
Will smith landed in a Beverly Hills mansion. It's very different 😅
You
Gotta go to Boyle Heights/ East Los neighborhood hermanito…
He wasn’t lying play your cards right and you going to be alright
There's a dicho (saying) in Spanish that goes, no le busques tres pies al gato. In other words, don't push your luck. Compton may not be as dangerous as it used to be but doesn't mean that you shouldn't be mindful about where you go and not look for it because if you do it'll find you. Trust what the locals are telling you, mind your business and no one will mess with you.
Los Angeles is the "City of Angels"
@@redexit0707 it’s still the hood. Most of the home owners are black and Latino been there for generations
