Umphrey’s McGee began their annual West Coast Spring tour last night, March 1 at the fabulous Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. For two and a half hours, UM rode a wave of driving, exploratory jams and a career-spanning variety of song selection.

@@eric4041 i agree m8, i seen the new guy at penns peak in january and hes defiantly warming up to those lights. but those are big shoes to fill, waful was best lights guy in my opinion

Great show! Is it just me or is I Dig a Pony everybody talk during the song time? Is that a UM thing? Meet and greet during covers? Thanks again for this!
Pretty common in my experience seeing UM in certain cities. Everyone having a good time and enjoying each other, although, sometimes it can be annoying/distracting.
@@AlwaysMakesAFive which cities are the "talkers" and which are the "listeners" in your experience? Just curious.
John Boyt I’m only going to point fingers at my home town of Dallas. Definitely talkers. It’s gotten on my nerves at times because it seems to disconnect the band with the audience. In my mind, I feel like Dallas isn’t one of UM favorite cities for this reason. I’d say Denver/Morrison are especially good listeners haha.
