Hey Sillintor - some time ago LxZ Link made a video about Link vs. Luigi where they recommended to blow up oneself with a bomb at 0%, solely to avoid 0-to-deaths from Luigi. I thought of that as you played the Luigi in this bracket and is doing that actually worth? Would like to hear your take on it
As stated above, link is too comboable for it to make sense. I guess 0-death isn't ideal but his route changes from 0-death to d throw up B which kills quick or d throw tornado which is still good damage. The goal never really changes in the mu which is to zone him til he gets annoyed and stops trying to throw. I think putting yourself at disadvantage on purpose is not the way to handle the mu - bomb pull is like 2 frames slower than DDDs forward smash if that puts things into perspective lol, not to mention where the explosion puts you each hit
Thanks. I meant just one bomb detonation at the very beginning of each stock, but it sounds like it wouldn't make much of a difference as Luigi can still combo Link pretty hard
@@firnenlegacy oh yeah he can do death combo up to like 15-20% but even if he can't, he still gets alot off of throw. Sounds insane but honestly if they're hyper focused on grabs, it's not hard to avoid.

It doesn't matter as Luigi can still combo us. It makes very little difference to a skill led Luigi player
