I Second that and she help Make the Seekers and in Some Respecks it was a Pitty that she left the Group in 1968 but I'm glad that they got back in 1993 and her and the Male Members Voices haven't changed
Yes! She was actually sorry that she quit during the peak of their success, felt bad about it and apologized later. It was a hard decision to make. Personally, if I was her, I would have waited to see what would happen with the Seekers, but she had her own life and feelings. The reuniting was wonderful and the Seekers retained their friendship until the end.
I'm sorry but I can't stand all that showbiz stuff I see her doing without the Seekers. A beautiful voice and personality wasted. I always picture her singing those gospel songs and whacking her tambourine, and luckily nowadays I can watch her doing that whenever I want.
Interesting; maybe we all hear what we want, like one of those universal translator machines in Star Trek. I (British ear) notice less of her Australian sound when she is singing than when she is speaking.
I have never loved any singer in my life anywhere near as much as I loved Judith Durham. I UTTERLY ADORED HER!. The staggering beauty of her voice and singing talent always seemed to me to be a gift from heaven. Even though she’s gone now i will listen to recordings from her to my dying day!. NOBODY BUT JUDITH!!!.
Beautiful and wonderful lady. What a sweetheart. Her voice is amazing. I’ve never seen this before. She was made to sing and she has great selection of music. Wonderful human being. It is sad that she is no longer with us.
Agreed. She was very humble and didn’t put a lot of emphasis on her own qualities, even when people said so. That is actually a good trait to have and I respect her for it.
No desert sands, no depths of the ocean, no thickest forests can match your beauty, Judith. Now that you've disturbed my heart, it has the right to sing along with you. I love you)
Here she is at her most appealing. So much of hr charm was her naiveté, so on display here. compounded by her girl next door appearance. Yet she had a lot of spine. Compare her career with that of another outstanding singer, Dusty Springfield. Entertainment is a tough business, like some many others.
Very sweet, and so is she. I'm sure Judith would have been the preferred choice of any future mother-in-law for her son to marry!! So lovely in every way.
@@mandyno5328 Durham is in my top 5 all time greatest singers: Durham, Baez, Fitzgerald, Ronstadt and even though I dont like the woman Streisand has a good set of pipes.
Lovely Lady
Even in her later years!
The voice of an angel 💖
How very beautiful Judith
May you rest peacefully in the arms of the angels

Sounds quite American when singing.

The greatest female voice of them all. Fabulous.
There are lots of great female voices each with their own unique qualities.
I still don’t think she realized how lovely she was and what a voice!
IS. she's still a babe with a voice of gold.
