There are a few videos out there stating that this method no longer works to get monetized on RUclips. Apparently YT is demonetizing channels that use the “cut & paste” methods where You are not using your own content. Not sure if it’s true but there are several channels who claim they have definitely been demonetized by using the methods You explained.

yes and I have even seen a few people speaking of being demonetized/not monetized even when they record the video and audio themselves.

@@ToddPalms …Yea unfortunately RUclips is very finicky about content nowadays.

(please delete this of giving these tips is not okay thanks!)
I am dealing with this predicament right now and updating my entire channel.
The Ai supposedly likes to hit people with denials for monetization due to reuse. It isn't reuse if you added your parts to a video. I studied channels that are monetized and it's not all. I don't have any reused but was denied due to that. I have taken all of the advice of what works for monetization and I'm working on editing my whole channel for to that.
I know this is an older post but from what I know a person can get monetized but it can be very hard. My tips, a person needs to put unique parts in areas so people or the AI reviewing doesn't see your channel as copied:
-a trailer of basically ‘making of a video’
      -never copy/paste ever
The Ai will recognize any videos that copies anyone else -make original thumbnails
      -Ai supposedly doesn't like templates
-if you're using a background from say Canva, you shouldn't just download without adding something to it. Example a gold course photo, add a rain overlay, maybe fog etc layering for an original end video
-titles don’t copy titles or descriptions, change wording, paraphrase etc
-captions- even though faceless videos may not have speaking in them, I strongly recommend captions even if it's to say like you hope tbey enjoy your video and please like and subscribe etc. Supposedly captions also add to a more original video the AI or person sees when they review your channel
I can't think of anything else off-hand. Hopefully it will all work. Study some top channels that are monetized and that could help. Prove in a video clip you are the actual person making the videos.
In other words, some people hire others to make their videos and maybe that works for them but I wouldn't suggest it, just my opinion on that that is very risky to do depending what it is
      Hope that all helps! 😊

I watch a lot of rainy-night videos and storms and whatnot. Where and how are the elaborate, super high resolution images with mild animation obtained? Surely all of these videographers are not digital artists? I am guessing there must be a bank of images, like room interiors with rain streaked windows, cabin bedrooms, treehouses, etc., and they are either purchased or otherwise obtained and animation added (cracking fire in a fireplace, steam out of teacups, rain and lightning beyond the windowpanes or through tree branches)? I have wondered this for years and even asked the entities who post the videos and never get a response.

obs isn't accepting my video, Does it have to be in a specific format, my video editor is the one that came with my HP so' perhaps its saving the video in the wrong format, IDK it is most definitely frustrating

I don't understand exactly how you get paid. Say my channel has the right amount of views (is is channel views total or individual video views?) the right amount of subscribers etc so now you tube just automatically puts add content on it? then they pay you for that? thanks

You need 1k subscribers and 4000 watch hours and then you can toggle on ‘ads’ in your account
