The longer video is, less you need to think about what to watch. Also watching you trying out new mods is fun too, i especially love mods with lots of events so i can just pause and read them.

This was an excellent video! Perfectly executed strategy that is almost begging for a part 2. In the future, I'd love to see a bit more of the decision-making process, such as with templates, industry, factory distribution, etc. It's always nice to gain insight into other people's strategies, especially if you're a newer player trying to learn the intricacies of this game. For new viewers - No order 66 or stealing sea-bound civil war troops anymore - The "Trash template" is a brilliant solution to the civil war patch though...I greatly enjoyed bullying the opposition in my last civil war. Austria can be obtained without fighting though, that 2nd opening war goal would be better used against another country like Poland or the Czechs IMO. This is still a top Taureor video though...because "she's better than Hitler" might just be the greatest quote of all time and the guide will still get you that "Prussian Military Tradition Waifu" we are all here for. 😁

Hey Taureor! Have you considered doing more eu4 videos? I don't know why but I feel like your gameplay style and voice would fit the game so well, just my opinion though, I'd still watch your videos whatever game your playing
I like to get to war with France right before the civil war, in order to order 66 them later. Also, while at war with the Allies you can get military access with Italy and order 66 them also. But, this is much more reliable, and was fun to watch you order 66 Britain, especially due to the changes to naval invasions.
I can't for the life of me figure out why the game prompted Portugal to insta-join your faction, even when they weren't facing war. I've had it happen with nations at war joining (who then instantly call in the non-puppet nations in my faction that I was deliberately not involving, opening up four more fronts) but never randomly at peace.
I usually use another cheap trick to win the civil war: disband your army then send the entire equipment to Spain (once it's in the civil war) 5 days before "Oppose hitler" triggers. Then cancel it and the "German Reich" has basically no weapons left to fight with meaning they can't train any new units. In one attempt i forgot this and then I suddenly had fully equipped infantry divisions as opponents. Though that might mess with the world tension balancing if you wait that long. I also usually gobble up Poland first so that the German Reich sends at least a few of it's divisions to conquer empty land giving me more holes to exploit (as the civil war leaves the Junta with everything except the eastern half of the original German Reich)
that's a nice strategy, did you know that you can actually invade britain and have them as your puppet while doing this? it basically works the same except you wont have to get them to like you nor join with the allies this time around.
nice one. also, could you try unpopular countries either in base game or in popular mods? nobody does that. everybody plays russia, france, germany, italy, uk, japan. or unpopular tree paths
This doesnt work. The Germans end up with better and more troops. The "Trash" units seem to be only mine. I cant "aggressively" move against them. They pop last stand and my guys actually die off. They dont get encircled they die off. Whole divisions disappear. This doesnt work. Update -71224 I tried it again and it still doesnt work. The Civil War battles take months to complete. No matter the trash units on the otherside.
Does it still work that the Hindenburg Desaster only occurs in peace time or do you have to enact those pesky safety regulations? Although even with increased safety measures the thing is still a giant bomb.
Hey Taureor, after getting into the same faction with the UK I don't have this decision about restoring the British titles, am I missing some DLC or content? the only DLC I don't have is the battle of bosporus. Despite applying all crucial decisions such as sharpening the air safety measures I still cant get the decisions for kaiserin. please help :)
the civil war aspect doesn't really make sense, you make them spawn with way more units, in and they're assaulting me and my units are literally just dying. I feel like the civil war is way easier not doing it this way?
since austria is non aligned you can invite them into your faction after flipping and eat them for free without a war , you get an event that they voted for referendum as if you completed anchuluss
why dont you go to total mob when in the civil war? i always do that, and i have 5% consumer goods (and 0% when i did rebuild the nation) for almost forever starting from 1936.
That's an interesting question. If I understand correctly, it will cancel your operations that are in preparation and I think ongoing ones too. However, the collaborations you completed before that should persist.
How about nuke speedrun? Germany have some stuff like Heisenberg , and you could take Norway to get two 200% bonus to nuke research. Maybe it will ne cool to get Gernan Nuke as fast as it can

Is that true though? Because I had that happen when Austria is not in my faction. Like when I was Democratic Germany. And I still got it.
