As usual lads spot on! As much as I love the content and the quality of your videos, what makes it really special is the level of respect and appreciation that you have for all these great locations. Thanks
That means a great deal! We try to show our appreciation and respect for the buildings through the content we make. Good to know that it is received well.
Another building full of history and could not believe all those books what a shame . A big thanks guys for the photos I recently received keep up the good work .
Very happy that you liked your photos and this video. Seeing the books was a real shame, because items like that could be easily shared before they get ruined.
The amount of money to restore this building would be tremendous. The bumpy floor would be structural problems or changes in the natural water level. So sad to see the grand piano and the baby grand piano rotting away. Thank you for this one. 💕🇦🇺
The “wavy” floor has nothing to do with the structure. The floor tiles are made of wood- they’ve all expanded with the ever-present moisture and the result is a bulging floor surface. In a few years the floor tiles will be rotted away and the bulges will collapse onto the subfloor. Water and gravity are the enemies of buildings.
Well done, lads. I just wonder if this country's trespass laws are designed to prevent you guys accessing properties like this and highlighting such criminality because it's a greater crime to abandon such beauty and allowing buildings like this to fall into such disrepair and the piano dedicated to the memory of the couple killed during ww2, buried under a pile of rubble and forgotten, well, that was just heart wrenching.
We have definitely increased the size of our videos and they take longer to record nowadays, but we are fairly happy with the length at the moment. Would rather keep them around 15-25 minutes long but not get repetitive - thank you for the support :)
I think that you can make featuring videos with other abandoned explorations channels, just like 'Exploring the Ubeaten Path', will be a great acheavement to do so.
Wow how sad this is to see bet this cost millions back when it was built i think you don't need to change lots this year but one thing might be giving us a year when it closed down but from there you don't need to do anything else as your videos are all stunning and moving thanks for the great video lads
From yr video it is very easy to get the location...it is located in S.... I m going to attempt the entrance..it seems that you point the left side , is not easier from the right side . Thanks
@x_pogboy5082 pay attention to the video in the first part ,not towards the end. You will see details that with a minimum research , it shows you the location.
@@x_pogboy5082 from the video i would say they entered from the back , not main road. I did not go yet , once i go there i can answer , but I am pretty sure it is not from the front
Wasn't originally a church, wasn't a theater either, there would be to much light coming in from the dome. Could have been a concert hall or a city hall, no problem with windows with that scenario Then again all the tile work could suggest a Royal Insinuate lecture theater.Thanks.
Possibly a little bit, we are quite happy with the size we release at the moment. Don't want it to get repetitive, especially when it's a smaller building
Fraser Mathers. You talk about these lads level of respect for these buildings yet they take the Lord Jesus's name in vain at least 3 times during their visit around a church. Don't you think that there is a contradiction in there somewhere??

Your response to that beautiful main hall must be what the Architect was hoping for. Fantastic vid, many thanks.
They did an amazing job with it! Incredible architecture, thank you

No problem, it was saddening to see the piano especially.

Just found your channel thank you for documenting history
How could it get into such a state so quickly? How did the bumpy floor happen? How did that ceiling all collapse? Pigeon poo on all the chairs?
Great video lads, one of my favourites. That floor buckling was really trippy. Take care.
Really glad that you liked it :)

Wow what a great video, would definitely be worth restoring to its former glory, can’t wait for 2022 see you in the next one 😊
Happy that you enjoyed it mate
It’s great how the tiles and windows made it look like a tube station 😀
It reminded us of that, too! The colours, I think.
Honestly, and I’m not sure you’d agree, I’d like longer videos as they seem too short. Keep up the great work lads! Much love from the USA. 👍

We really want to look into collaborating on trips with some favoured Urbex channels. That is a great suggestion!
My favourite video is when you discovered showcase cinema because I live in Manchester it's the greatest city in the UK #ILoveManchester
Wow old school chair like I used in primary school
The chairs looked extremely dated.
@@Urbandoned yep 1970’s England schools chairs

It was tragic wandering through. We tend not to provide specific dates for buildings that aren't publicly known, in an attempt to protect them.

@@Urbandoned 👍🏼
Some videos of abandoned sports stadiums would be good
Maybe soon :)
Awesome wish i could film a horror movie there
Should be restored into a theatre
We would love to see that project happen
What a beautiful building, can only hope its repurposed in some way
We do too!
I couldn't even begin to think what other uses this building could be used for.
Theatre, market, political rallies
@@MostlyLoveOfMusic not viable these things do not generate enough money to keep buildings of this size maintained.
What a shame. I think it’s ‘only’ been empty for 8 years and already looks like this.
Decay moves rapidly when there is utter neglect :(
In the house of stone and light.
Where is it
There are a lot of things which they deliberately don't explain

Some church's still use songs of fellowship so it must have closed only in the last 25 years?
Ah, just heard you say it closed 10 years ago.
What kind of cretins would hang a bunch of florescent light fixtures in a structure like that!? Zero class...
Truly vile aren't they?
I suspect it comes down to cost - I doubt the Methodists have the financial clout of the C of E or the Catholic church.
Cool
:)
Free flowing blasphemy.
