I’ve seen this home on a few other YT channels. I just find your vlog so much better. I love ho you are explain in great detail, brilliantly filmed, and not talking rubbish over the search. For a young man I think you do an amazing job, and wish you all the best for the future. You deserve so many more subscribers. Keep up the good work, you are the best explorer channel on YT. Thank you for showing us this imposing property. 💖💖💖💖
Very sad to see this house in this state. I know the house, it's name, and address as I went there on a number of occasions back in about 1974 because a school friend lived there. I have a copy of the house brochure that was produced when they were selling in 1974. The central part of the house was built in 1928 and renovated in 1969. Many of the features such as the staircase, the roof dome and some of the rooms are original. The house looks to have been extended for the pool and the library with it's mezzanine floor in the 80s. The fountains are also additions. So sad to see the front lawns left overgrown, the downstairs room just a mass of rot, and my school friend's bedroom (at 6:04) in such a state. Some of the modifications done are tasteless but it is even worse to leave the property to wrack and ruin like this.
Alas, lots of money doesn't necessarily mean lots of taste ! I'm glad it wasn't covered with graffiti though, thanks for the intelligent commentary and great tour x
Wow what an amazing explore. Amazing how certain folk can leave if they have the means. The decor in certain rooms leaves a lot to be desired lol. Thanks for sharing. I've watched every one of your videos in your library. :)
Well done guys, what a great explore. It's good to see you subscribers growing 😊👍. A once beautiful house just left to decay , I wonder why this has come to be like this , but as you say it has a strange design layout . The American flag design bathroom was errrrrr....certainly different 😲. Back in the day it would of been an amazing place to live in . The pool area was so cool , and the tree house was awesome, the kids of this house must of really enjoyed it . I wonder what happened to the family that once lived here . Thank you for showing this to us. Stay safe and keep well in this difficult time we are all dealing with and I look forward to your next explore / posting .👍😊🚙🌍☮🏳️🌈
Thank you, happy that you enjoyed the coverage. It’s a strange but unique house with many details to see. A lot of places like this are often hard to find too much history on, so we can’t be too sure whatever happened to the family that once lived here.
The tour is up to standards man , your presentation is 👌 it's like I'm watching the history channel , beautiful mansion indeed , where is this place ? I wish someone can buy it and modernize it...
@Urbandoned just bought one of those torches, really good and powerful, the size amazes me for such a power torch. What is the bigger torch you use? Thank you for the link to the torch, I can fully recommend the item
Been enjoying your vlogs. Very informative. I only discovered them recently. I thought I would be viewing crap but you have amazed me. Very good voice overs. Like most urban explorers you leave all alone and just narrate on what you see. I could be wrong but I would say 2 things in relation to the Mansion and the reason it was cleared of everything. With the tacky interior in two of the rooms it may have been owned by an American family. Normally the lady of the house chooses the interior decor. The American theme bathroom was prob for a son. The other bathroom was probably for a girl. But the green foliage reminds me of Hash plants. She obviously liked a jungle theme. Not a single item was left in the house which is very strange for an abandonment. As the house was prob built in the 80s the reasons for it to be left as is can be 2 fold. (1) house was built without proper planning permission (2) the owners may well have not been able to have afforded the mortgage on the property. Which brings me back to (1) if it was a mortgage issue the bank would have sold off the property to recoup any outstanding debts. So it looks to me there were planning issues hence the demolition of the house. Also note the Red Wiring on two of the shots. The owners were installing a proper fire alarm in to the property and it never got finished hence the Red Wire been so open and not hidden and in the last shot of it the wire is hanging there waiting on the sensors to be fitted. Lads if you know the reason for Abandonment let us know. And it's been a few months since you posted this vid, is the house now a pile of rubble or still standing but inhabited. Keep up the good work and I will say one thing in your favour compared to other urban explore vlogs. You tend to do a small bit of background history into some of your explorations. Keep up the good work and stay safe. You guys have plenty of years of discovery ahead of you. And in time you will probably go and do explorations in other countries when the finances are there. Best of luck from an NEW Irish Fan.
It's waaaay too nice to demolish, and you obv appreciate it. It actually has the look of a haunted house, guys. Watch out in those mirrors! : ) That bathroom, though! God bless America.
There’s a story from just a couple of months ago about this mansion. Turns out the owner claims that it’s not abandoned and someone is living in it?! Apparently being renovated. The story also claims he bought it for £26 million in 2014. If he’s that rich you’d think he’d have enough common sense to upgrade the security rather than relying on a handwritten note on the gate saying “PEOPLE LIVE HERE” 🤪
My guess would be this is a most likely from a Rockstar, Band or their Label. All the different designs and the recreations and entertaining purposes most of the rooms, gives me this Sex,Drugs n Rock'n'roll vibes, as if they moved with their wifes ( maybe one of them had to bring her child) or/& bunnys, so they can entertain each other in the upper calmer living rooms, and the band can work on new material downstairs and when taking a break they all can relax at the pool, terrace or garden having bbq or throw a party. This location is big enough for a band to be in till they've enough songs for a new album.
New sub.here 👍🏻 Great film , such a pity these big places are abandoned. My guess is some European family, maybe a foreign ambassador & family? That bathroom was so loud , tacky with the USA design. Yet other parts so nice. That swimming pool looked great - shame about graffiti.😥 i like you including the outside & the trees , what a fort for the kids to play in.🙂 I have some catching up to do.. Hope you wear masks when mould is about. Best wishes , from Scotland 🐱♏☯️🌌🌻🏴
Amazing such valuable property is just left to ruin. Some stupidity of some government entity to waste this property! Malfeasance in England must be terrible!
I can’t believe the level of decay present but I have to say some of the architecture is very questionable some very strange taste As always great video
The thing is , when u buy big land u must build a big house for a big family , kids grow up and move out of the house , now you are both left alone as you grow old maybe 1 passes on , instead of selling, the old people always hold on to the memory until they can't take care / maintain the property and they move out...just sad hey😢
Brilliant🙂 realy wnjoying your stuff. Much better than some other urban explorers I've watched in the past. You're more... upper class urban explorers 👌😂
Hi lads , how the 1% live hey , what a complete waste of money and as you said so tacky the design inside , yes the Romanian metal thieves have had there way so probably been left like that so it can be demolished, l work in construction and can tell you never ever buy or have constructed a new house the materials are crap and tradesmen are not as good as say in the Victorian times so I’d always say buy an older house most are solid . Thx lads cool explore .

Dang this location would be like ridiculously helpful for my film photography career, it has so much going on it's incredible
It’s a very interesting place for sure
Where is it?
st George's hill in weybridge
Love love LOVE you've taken the time to add subtitles. Thank you! You've got yourself a new sub :)
Sometimes on our explores we are more focused on keeping safe than our audio work, so we figured subtitles are the best way to counter that.
Love your channel and style. Keep up the great work lads 👍.
Would like to know the history of this place 🤔
Very beautiful staircase!! A shame it’s decaying! Great find!
The staircase was our favourite part..except for the treehouse!
That hifi kit in the cupboard was Quad 33/303s, really nice classic British kit still in use today.
Quality video mate. Nice one.
Cheers pal
Great review, Awesome channel!! sad to see places like this just decaying.
Damn, looks really 80s, I wonder what the story was of this mansion and why nobody buyed it after the last owners moved out. Great video btw 👏
It’s a strange place with architecture that seems to change dates every room! Thanks pal
This was phenomenal man
Appreciate it :)
Nice property - Shame it's been left to rot. Thx for sharing.
No problem, thank you

How quickly expensive homes built in the mid late 80’s date this one had a life of less than 30 years
It's waaaay too nice to demolish, and you obv appreciate it. It actually has the look of a haunted house, guys. Watch out in those mirrors! : )

When you went up stairs it was like the wizard of oz

Anyone know whereabouts in surrey this is?
Is this Sandbanks, Poole?
You'll have your own mansion if you keep getting sponsors for videos ;) good shit as usual lads
Haha! Thanks mate
Great video! Where exactly was this? I’d like to do some research on it
Aberdeen Scotland West end /Holburn Area
Where is this

It’s definitely a strange one! Thank you
Hate it when some idiots come and vandalise or graffiti these properties. Apart from the tacky american themed bathroom this place is beautiful.
There’s no way it’s only been abandoned for seven years looking at the nick of it
Hi lads, how the other 1% live what a waste of money leaving it abandoned like that
The thing is , when u buy big land u must build a big house for a big family , kids grow up and move out of the house , now you are both left alone as you grow old maybe 1 passes on , instead of selling, the old people always hold on to the memory until they can't take care / maintain the property and they move out...just sad hey😢
Flip it 😎
I find it quite difficult to see why a house like this would be abandoned?
I think it might be too expensive to maintain $$$$
Lewis Merrin is totaly spamming your comments section 🙄
Sorted it 😐
Brilliant🙂 realy wnjoying your stuff. Much better than some other urban explorers I've watched in the past. You're more... upper class urban explorers 👌😂
2014, that could be saved. Spoke too soon. No it can't

Why they got the bloody American flag in bathroom why haven't they got English flag in bathroom
Perhaps because they were American and not English?
