*It’s perfect for the amount of labels I print. New **Bestt.Digital** Label Printer, Only had it for a day so far. Works great and was a super easy setup! Would recommend buying.*
I looked at other label makers for a comparison to this one. I will probably buy this one simply for the ease of use. This demonstration was very well done. Best demo I found so far. V good job.
+ReviewLamp.com What I'm trying to compare is the Dymo 280. That's how I found out how good your demo was. These other demo's are pitiful compared to yours. Do you make a Dymo 280 demo?
+barbara torres Take the cartridge out. Use a pen or your finger to unspool the reel a bit, using the round knob on the side. Re-insert the cartridge and use the cutter to trim off the unspooled length. It should work now.
I bought the dymo 160 I asked the fella at the store if the three quarter inch label would fit in this particular label maker and he said yes he said as long as it's Martin D1 and it was but it does not fit in the label printer am I doing something wrong or was he wrong about it
So the label cartridges determine the "ink" color? The label maker doesn't print strictly black? I'd like to print white lettering onto black labels. Didn't know if I needed a specific label maker for that...
My Dymo 160 does not print... is it possible that if the batteries are nearly finished the Dymo is not printing ??? The label comes out but there are no letters on itOr do I need an ink tape
For some reason my machine isn't printing anything, although I've used it many times before. Plain white tape comes out. I thought maybe there is an ink cartridge but no. Does anybody know why this is happening?
When I turn mine on, it shuts its self off when I go to print. The batteries are new and it does the same thing when I use a power cord. Is there anything else I should try?
Someone has mentioned that the molded-in symbols in the battery compartment are misleading or hard to interpret. You may have one or more batteries inserted the wrong way.
I just bought my label maker 160 from Walmart and when I put the batteries in all that came up was "Hw error: flash!" And it says that blinking and I can't turn it on or nothing. What do I do??
Someone has mentioned that the molded-in symbols in the battery compartment are misleading or hard to interpret. You may have one or more inserted the wrong way.
Good tutorial - watched this after receiving my 160 this afternoon (great price on amazon)... just one point, the inscriptions inside the battery compartment of my unit are actually back to front. In other words the batteries have to be installed the opposite way round! Apart from that a great tool for labelling my spice jars... just trying to figure out how you got the border around the text? (Oh, cancel the last... wife has worked it out!.... you press the button marked with a square with a 'U' inside it (repeated presses gives various border options)
Awesome! Thanks very much! I watched your review of the CAD U37 mic and bought it, it works well but for audio should the bottoms be pushed to the right or the left?

New user. Still not happy. Although I agree with you that it is close to intuitive for use, there are a great many things that I cannot yet do. Such as clear the last letters of the label I made to make a new one. And then it isn't intuitive to me as to how to get to all of the different menu items.
The only reason I'm currently searching for videos on the Dymo label makers is to hear if there are any sounds when it's printing out and you did not cover that in this video. That's the only thing keeping me from purchasing this device.
Don't purchase this product. The spring on the door fails due to the actuator arm it connects to. Many Many of these items have broken after minimal use
I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
Very clear and concise verbal delivery. No superfluous "fluff." Covered all machine functions. Thank you.
Thanks!
All the information you want to know and much more, condensed in a 3 minute video. Perfect review!

I could certainly consider that. Stay tuned
ReviewLamp does it print with box round it?
I like mine, but clearing the screen after a print is a pain if it's very long worded. Should be a delete screen button.
thats how every review shud be done! Good job m8
Thanks!
Wow, this is the entry-level model? Back in the day, this would be the high-end model.
+CeeStyleDj Very true
@@Reviewlamp how long does the battery last for.
I just bought one and I am amazed og how well it works because I got it for only 20$. Great!
Everything I wanted to know was presented in this video! Thank you
+wendy1037 Glad it was useful. Please subscribe.
What about how many lines it can print..And that's a basic one.
I just bought one and I put the cartridge in and it keeps telling me paper jam,, but I haven't used it and its new
+barbara torres Take the cartridge out. Use a pen or your finger to unspool the reel a bit, using the round knob on the side. Re-insert the cartridge and use the cutter to trim off the unspooled length. It should work now.
I can't figure out how to clear the display and start a new label. All I can do is backspace. That's annoying.
There is unfortunately no clear option. You just have to keep hitting backspace
Can you print multiple lines (with small font size) on the same label with this?
You would have to print them separately or cut and move them physically to the next line.
Yes. See the manual.
@@Reviewlamp 2:10
Precise, clear and well presented, thank you.
Thanks
I just bought one and love it💕💕💕
I seen it in the video, but just to make sure, can it print labels with 2 lines?
I never knew that dymo did a version of the old style label maker that uses metal tape
Anyone know how well the tape keeps stuck on the item your sticking it on ? Hard plastic ? Cardboard ?
Would have really enjoyed a video on how to install the tape! Im having some issues here! But this video was helpful thanks!
+Felice Kimbrew Thanks for the comment
If you would put in rechargeable batteries, would they charge with the power adapter plugged in?
No
Thank you, this was as near to perfect as a review can get!
+ILoveMyOrchids Thank you! Very sweet of you to say
Does the tape have a backing, and if so how easy is it to peal away?
I bought the dymo 160 I asked the fella at the store if the three quarter inch label would fit in this particular label maker and he said yes he said as long as it's Martin D1 and it was but it does not fit in the label printer am I doing something wrong or was he wrong about it
The largest size tape the machine will accept is 1/2”. You could get tapes like these: amzn.to/3h3cN28
Does the printer do the £ sign and can you do a price label?
Yes it does have the pound symbol. And yes you can print price labels. It isn’t the most cost effective method though
Thnx for awesome video. The cassette which comes with the printer is self adhesive???
+Sky Lark Yes it is
So the label cartridges determine the "ink" color? The label maker doesn't print strictly black? I'd like to print white lettering onto black labels. Didn't know if I needed a specific label maker for that...
You just need a specific label cartridge. You’ll see links to ones below the video
Hello, are the labels plastic, like the old ones?
Which old ones?
@@Reviewlamp the embossed ones
They are not as rigid as those. More like a thinner plastic material
@@Reviewlamp gotcha, thanks!
My Dymo 160 does not print... is it possible that if the batteries are nearly finished the Dymo is not printing ??? The label comes out but there are no letters on itOr do I need an ink tape
I get a thin black film that also comes out with the label, should the black come out also? or just the white label with black letters.
no it should not come out. Do Not PULL on tape
For some reason my machine isn't printing anything, although I've used it many times before. Plain white tape comes out. I thought maybe there is an ink cartridge but no. Does anybody know why this is happening?
Can this print on fabric labels? Or just paper labels?
You can print on flexible fabric labels like these: amzn.to/2Rt7vnX
i do not seem to be able to move forward to print a new label ?
So the Labeling Tape is not included with label maker?
There is a shorter tape included with the machine.
What is the smallest font size available? Are the font size similar to microsoft word font size printed out? Thanks
Can it print in white text color with black background?
any tips on how to separate the tape in order to attach it?
Fold gently along the horizontal center line. The backing should peel.
I would say fold along the "lengthwise" center line.
I just bought my label maker 160 from Walmart and when I put the batteries in all that came up was "Hw error: flash!" And it says that blinking and I can't turn it on or nothing. What do I do??
I would suggest returning the unit. Seems like you got a defective unit.

how much letters long can be Write in the label maker?
Over 90.
how to you get less spacing between words I feel like it wastes a lot of ink
Awesome! Thanks very much! I watched your review of the CAD U37 mic and bought it, it works well but for audio should the bottoms be pushed to the right or the left?
Each of those buttons have a very specific function, as I explained in the video. It depends on your recording situation.
nice review, keeps us engaged with specifics. i ended up buying it
Thanks
Will this label maker print 2-lines?
No. Just a single line
Can we find the same with a paper roll ?
To the extent of how many characters can I use at a time or in one label?
Thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
You’re welcome

I'm sorry, I meant should the buttons be pushed to the left or the right
Does anybody knows the difference between the 160 and 160e?
my D1 cassette outputs a black sheet as well as the label itself. weird.
what is the max amount of digits it can print???
are the labels laminated?

+Melissa Cundiff 1/2 inch is the largest size
Mine isn’t printing. Maybe the ink dried out?
I would recommend replacing the label cartridge.
Hola! No puede imprimir, solo gira y no sale la etiqueta, alguien podría ayudarme?
No way to change font?
Great review my friend! Thank you
Thanks!
I just bought this and like it so far but how do you delete the whole line of text off the machine after printing without having to backspace it all?
Backspacing is really the only way.
where is the backspace key? Can't find it anywhere!
Um, the "x in an arrow" key under "L" or right next to "M"?
Very useful review video!
+xochitl quiroz thanks!

why 6 batteries when i only see 3?
