After our previous series on "how to print", we received a request to show how the "matt-down screen" is made. So here is the instructional video with instructions from our master printer William Jimenez. He'll explain all the steps from applying the emulsion to instructions on how to use the "matt-down screen."
What are the advantages of using a matt-down screen? The process smooths down the fibers of the fabric to create a soft and slightly more opaque under base. This creates a very smooth feel of the entire print.
