I am a 79 old Pakistani/American Punjabi Muslim. I love Urdu and I always wanted to learn Hindi script. I learned how to read and write Hindi just two years ago. It hurts me to read comments here that Urdu is a Muslim language and Hindus should stick to Hindi and Sanskrit. There were several illustrious Hindu and Sikh writers and poets that I have read about in my life. Learning a language is beautiful. And besides my mother tongue Punjabi, I also know Pashto, Sindhi because I lived with Pashtuns and in Sindh. Later, I learned French and Spanish. I also know a bit of Farsi and Arabic . Learning opens your heart and mind.
My main takeaway from this interview is that we need to connect with our roots instead of "over-westernising" and forgetting our own language and culture.

platforms like this is needed in every language since there is major error in usage of words in the language
I like this language and I try to study this language 😘
This was a great video! I enjoyed it overall. I do wish to point out that the "f" sound does exist in Hindi-Urdu, being represented with a फ़ in Hindi and a ف in Urdu. This is distinct from the "ph" sound that is written as फ / پھ .
I thought there will be some good fruit ful lesson of Urdu words and it's pronunciation but after watching it I found ,it was just a show to mock how others speak Urdu, rather than teaching some Urdu words it's correct "Talaffuz"as the title said.

I’m English, and grew up with Indians and Pakistanis as neighbours and school friends and later University friends!Since we were in/ out of each others homes I had an ear for the language and years of being taken( as a treat) to watch Bollywood movies contributed to my ear being attuned to the language, having learnt the popular Hindi songs( but not knowing what they meant!😆);However it was only when my Pakistani friends introduced me to Pak dramas on Netflix and I became addicted , I decided to teach myself Urdu!Sadly still doing it in Roman script but my understanding is better than my spoken( poor accent!)! It’s a language of poetry, and I’m acutely aware that it’s lost in translation to English which doesn flow as beautifully as Urdu! I hope India will not lose this beautiful language in its political era of Modi!

Zabardast, shukriyah Rekhta.
Khubsurat program and khubsurat audience
My main takeaway from this interview is that we need to connect with our roots instead of "over-westernising" and forgetting our own language and culture.
There's difference between skilled and educated person...... People who are knowledgeable of language is educated people....
