This was a great study, I trade 0DTE shorts the tradeoff is clear shorter time frame for gains vs 24 days, but the same can be said for using Butterflies on shorter time frames in low volatility take your profits early maybe 25% and keeping your scaling reasonable. A quick reversal of any kind is hard to deal with if it doesn't turn around, since we are in a bullish cycle at the moment hanging in tight, worse case maybe roll it out to save it before the market changes direction.

I've found 7dte short legs have to be too close to the strike price. 0dte is good because a single day is more predictable than overnight, and longer dte are good because the market can move up, down, consolidate a little. 7d seems to catch single direction without enough time to pull back and average to the range.

i trade 7dte and long dataed options. its a good mix of risk. 7dte i do it over 7 uncorrelated markets and long dated just the MES.
Which markets you do 7 day? Are they liquid in these short expirations?
@@caiobortoli you can do the futures but I do small with ETFs. I do nat gas, oil, gold or silver, high dividend stock (vz), small cap ETF, tmf (bonds), and mes. I do wheel these with various adds for each depending on instrument. They are very liquid
I don't sell at low and don't buy at high but if I wanna sell or buy which thing I must do what is level break and retest entry in trade when we don't wanna sell at low suggest love form India
