Nikki is the best. 20+ years of putting hard work into her craft. She is brutally honest about her family and personal life, even when it doesnt paint her in the best light. Have to appreciate the honesty.

But so is Tom in his own way tbh I’m someone born in 94’ in Boston area so because of that ive watched everything Tom Brady has ever done and said in public more or less.. and I was nervous he wouldn’t come off well because he always comes across as rehearsed and phony when he’s in front of a microphone.. always robotic. I really don’t think he was even that good in terms of his actually performance of the jokes they wrote him.. he was doing the “bad guy” gimmick but I don’t think he committed to it enough.. but everything about the show as a whole elevated him to the point it didn’t even matter by the time he got up there.. and he came off more natural as his set went on. I realized that agreeing to get roasted and just sitting there taking the jokes is like 80% of the battle.. so Jordan would be fine as long as he just sits there and laughs and takes it.. and all he has to do is read stuff comedians write for him. Like I said though, a guy with a publicly traded international zillion dollar shoe brand has nothing to gain and everything to lose whereas Tom didn’t really have anything to lose and he actually did have a lot to gain because he spent most of his career being hated, unlike Jordan

This is why roasts are so important for comedians. Nikki has been killing it for years, but to expose her to a different audience that primarily spends their free time watching sports. Now she is on Pat McAfee, the exposure is amazing for her career. This roast was awesome for many talented people. Imagine if Netflix did a live roast every month, that would be the nail in the coffin for streaming services.
Not enough worthy people would volunteer for it haha

I’m a Dolphins fan but honestly I’m thankful Tom Brady was willing to do this. The fact that the jokes were so dark and off the cuff reminds me of the good old days when we weren’t so worried about being cancelled or sensitive. Hope this continues next year

I think an unintentional benefit of the roast was it was a healing moment for patriots nation. Seeing our favorites out there together again wether it be Brady and Jules and Gronk or Bledsoe Moss and Willie and even bill and Mr Kraft just having a good time like it was a Super Bowl victory parade again
