This game was special because Jokic showed all of his offensive arsenal. Post moves, mid range, hook shots, 3 pointers, spin moves. He did everything except dunks. And he still made 7 assists and a bunch of hockey assists. Minnesota’s defensive brilliance is completely negated by Jokic’s excellent offense. They didn’t even make defensive mistakes. Jokic was simply too good.

The only guy that could change this is Wemby when he’ll become stronger and like 15-20 pounds heavier, now he is only 230 so 250 pounds + grown men strenght will be enough to guard any Center, but he’ll probably lose a bit of speed and mobility so he won’t guard the perimeter as well …

Sorry man, but Ben Wallace would get cooked by Jokić. The big threat is the spacing which Wallace would have no ability to work on. Gobert is a top five all-time interior defender, but his weakness (and almost all big men’s weakness) is guarding the perimeter. Wallace would get cooked having to guard Jokić from the half-court, just like everyone else does. It’s not a knock on anyone, it’s just that Jokić is an all-time great scorer, and one of the best passers of all time to boot.
