if you want to connect the gamepad to another device, reset the gamepad first. how? turn on the gamepad, it will blink slowly. now turn it off and then turn on again with hold the button until it blink fast. now your gamepad ready to connect to another device
+Jorge Lau you will still have to open the MI.exe everytime you connect the gamepad as the program is pretty barebones hahah but the functionality is pretty good

i have this for 6 years, i gotta replace the battery mount somehow, cuz its getting painful sometimes it doesnt work. fits my big ass hands perfectly. once this thing died on me i probably get that 8bitdo controller haha

I believe the xiaomi gamepad doesn't come with a Gyroscope, and this workaround only maps the basic features
