    Would be fun to see beam pattern / spread shown per rock light. I prefer even light spread than max brightness.

    I tend to use KC Cyclones. I do crimp/heat shrink my installs, and the cyclone has thick/long enough wire that I can do what I need to do.
    --Plus, the wire is parallel to the back of the light, so it lays flat when installed and I can route it as-needed without having to smash the wire into a hard bend.

    Confused at the beginning of presentation of the Profile lights you said you can do 4 sets of 4 rock lights but when you get to showing the XBT module you say there’s only 3 . So the question is can I do 12 or 16

    You mentioned that the KC Cyclones have some kind of push pin adapter. I have a Cyclone kit sitting in my garage that has the metal brackets but I don't see the push pin adapters. Also not on their website nor could I find it on the web. Could you give me a link to where I can find out more about this adapter and possibly purchase them? Thanks much. Love your company.

      Good evening and happy holidays 2022. There is a first and second to my knowledge generations Cyclone lighting. The first definitely has male and female push type ends. I used on my Jeep JL role cage build and am on my current JL, Rockhard 4x4 rollcage. I find the pure white to be plenty bright and once ran to my sPOD will help add a usable front and rear reading/ dome lights. That's the best description I can provide for the KC Highlights "rock lights." As for rock lights, I will use Offroad Only rock lights. Not the most sophisticated wiring but should work to a sPOD, Jeeps (Wranglers) are afterall--Just Enough Essential Parts.

    • @thepheonixmatt
      @thepheonixmatt Год назад

      @@HeadlightRevolutionblack label is rock light from China that the manufacturer will etch your name into and sell to you. The majority of rock light companies all buy from China and get their name etched and sell for a massive markup
      That being said they are quality rock lights that are super bright (especially the pure white version) and last a long time

    • @thepheonixmatt
      @thepheonixmatt Год назад

      @DizzKidz these don't care about voltage can't attest to longevity when you use 20/24 voltage but it will light up anywhere from 9v to 24v will be brighter(slightly) the more voltage and will get hotter when you use 24v vs using 12v. Of course I'm talking about the rigid and the ones that are nearly identical to them not the other lights

    Well, I really think you hated a little bit too much on the wiring stuff. Yeah, plug and play is convinient and helps with time consuming installs, but it is also a very bug compromise with the extra wiring, routing for a controller, etc.
    I dont really know if the KC hilites are that dimmed, but it seems to me like a great solution.
    Installing rock lights is an already time consuming process, so taking the time to figure out some stuff is not that bad at all.
    I personally like to have clean wires to be able to put my prefered weatherproof conectikns there by sawtering the ends together and adding some heatshrink. Not that hard to do.
    And the mounting options... yeah, magnets are convenient, but I would never trust a magnet off road, so that seems like a no go for me on a rocklight department.
    Finally, KC makes hands down the best offroad lights in the market, period. So I'm very surprised you rated them so low on the brightness department. It would be nice to actually see them side by side with the competitors in a dark environment (where the lights are meant to be used).

    Best Rock lights or wheel well lights are the ones that works when you need them to work, easy to replace when needed, availability, and cost effective.
    The main question is, do you really need them to off-road or just for show. Also check locals laws about them before installing the lights.
