I like the concept of your extended version! We always needed a club-length dance mix of this song. My one gripe is that the reverb & echo effect is overdone and becomes annoying. Like most things in life, use in moderation. The breakdown of the song that would benefit by being dry and punchy to excite a dance crowd into a frenzy. Use effects sparingly for best impact.
