hello, refer to the pinned comment of the installation video. This is the rundown of features, i have another video where I discuss how to install it. The pinned comment there shows your options for making it work on the latest version
Hey, thanks for the video. I have a problem with the connection between krita and the url. Krita gives me the massege of: Cannot reach backend. Any help.
nice work! Sub'd! Does the inpainting still work; does it break every now and then? It says "Done" and the mask disappears, but there is no new layer with inpainting created... i'll keep working at it.
thanks! it does break a fair bit if you auto update your A1111 webUI. but if you have a working installation and you don't auto update either of them, both should work the next time you open them. Not sure what youre talking about the inpainting, if its a bug, you can send a bug report over on the github page, the dev is responsive and happy to help :)
Hi Rexel! OMG, I have never heard from Krita b4! This is an amazing open source software, it installed in English but after installing it opened in my native language (Dutch) and it's blazing fast, much faster than Photoshop! Thanks for lettings us know, and SD Woow Woow Woow!
SLR there's currently a working implementation from a fork by a different dev but it needs some ironing out before it gets merged to the main repository. So yes, maybe in a few weeks, I'll make sure to make a video about it :)
I still haven't watched the video (I've just found it and I gotta sleep now) but thanks a lot for the extension! :D Will it work if I have a manual Automatic1111 installation?
Thank you for this tutorial. Is there any way to access and use Automatic1111 extensions from within the Krita plugin interface? Being able to use ControlNet and a few others like AfterDetailer would make an amazing plugin even more amazing. EDIT: Ah, I see someone else also asked and the answer is that there's a separate branch in development, but it isn't ready yet.
Yep exactly, I'm using ControlNet Krita implementation currently. If you know your way how to handle github installations and you really want to try it, Id say it's worth it
SD is trained at 512 x 512 so the closer your image generation is on that size, the better. Anything bigger than 768px will introduce artifacts, which can be fixed with Hires fix but that means generations take longer. I usually just upscale once I have a good understanding of what I want then refine from there. I don't usually go beyond 1920x1080 on my paintings either.
I use an RTX 2060. I think they made it so that you can use any Nvidia card, even the entry level ones. Not sure about AMD or just running this with CPU
Like I said I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling python, stable diffusion, and Krita but I keep getting the same message everything was working great until I formatted my computer and reinstalled everything again.
And the thing that gets me is the Txt2img works great!!! it's just img2img and inpainting that gives me the error. I can use invoke which is a good program but I prefer Krita.
@@IOI101IOI don't worry, it's an issue with the latest webui update and im assuming the dev of the plugin don't have enough time to create a fix for now. but some folks have found a workaround so that the new update doesn't break the img2img check this thread here: github.com/Interpause/auto-sd-paint-ext/issues/117
@@RexelBartolome Oh man lol I have been going nuts because I have been having this issue for some time thank you so much you saved me so much headache I was about to format an start over again. Thank you so much!!!!!
It's not working with Krita 5.2.2.

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I was getting sad that we may not have had stable diffusion like photoshop, but now we do! So awesome!
youre welcome !
thanks so much for making this tutorial. for me, making educational videos quite daunting cause ivent taken a video editing class before
you're welcome! and yea I know what you mean 😅recording your own voice and editing all the recordings together to upload is all quite intimidating
Very cool! Great video. Any Controlnet support?
This was very interesting! Thank you :)
you're welcome!
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to get it running. I just can't get HighRes fix to work at all.
Thank you for the video! :)
My pleasure!

have you turned on "--api" on the launch arguments?
I just started with KritaAI, the interface now looks very different. Do you know how I get the img2img, inpaint tabs to show up?
thats a different plugin to this one Im afraid

You gonna be surprised how far Krita is good. Check out community page with lots of tips and resources as brushpacks and plugins.
is there a controlnet plugin as well?

yep, ive made a separate video about installing it. it's just a matter of installing the extension through the extensions tab :)

@@RexelBartolome Do you have the Git URL? I can't seem to find it.
The Uncle Ho thumbnail 😭
is there a reason why your image resolution is extrmely low? that is potato camera resolution size

What graphics card do you use? I suppose you still need a beefy card even if it's a plugin.
