I like how you talk slowly and take the time to explain things well. good camera capture and good sound too. No background noise, likewise no music. Thank you very much for this good post! Cheers:)
better than most how to do video s.you talk slow...good..you showed us didnt just suddenly its done and like show us what u did.and u did.and no loud music.very good.
Thank a lot sir...i did exalctly what you suggested, I checked the relay, it was busted, so I bought a new one to replace it...still my nissan 2002 cranks but won't start, then I changed the fuel pump..and car started!.. thanks a lot and God bless..
Just done mine Nov 2021...my bro-in-law is Filipino and money is tight, so instead of replacing the unit, he took it apart to get at the actual pump...a small cylindrical silver/Ali tube that he gently tapped all around, put a feed to it and it worked..not a peso spent...I think the pump was lazy as the car had not been used much due to Covid restrictions.
Hi! The relay doesn’t click when plugged in, but when we connect it to the battery directly it seems to work fine and click. We checked the fuses and seems to work fine. What should we do in this situation? Thanks!
Great video. If I need to replace a fuel pump on my Sentra, then I have a great reference. I have an 05 that stalled out on the freeway and I'm looking for ways to rule things out. There were no warning signs before the stall, but now there is an engine code. Haven't checked it yet, so I'm curious what your engine code was and whether that was just a symptom of the failed fuel pump or if it was just an unrelated code from some other issue.
You said the price was around the same if you knew where to order it from. Where do you order your posts cause everything I've seen has around a $200 difference between the assembly and the electrical pump parts
Hey i have a nissan sentra 1996(nissan B14) i have had trouble with this car for so long...right now my current problem is my fuel gauge one minute am on empty then the next it says my tank is full but i know very well its not full and the gauge hasent moved from that point Secondly i have over heating problems my temparature gauge was above H my fans are good the radiator is good. I jyst dont know what to do now. Any advise
Change the fuel pump with the sender unit for the fuel gauge to work. Check thermostat for overheating issues or low on coolant if you are positive there is no leaks and don't have a bad head gasket.
Does anyone know why my 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 is only doing 180 miles per tank? It’s had regular maintenance done and there are no check engine lights
@@HemiChrysler My friend one more thing I need to ask. Is any complete [fuel pump sending units] from 2ooo thru 2003 are compatible, with for my 1.6 1999 Nissan Sentra model? I need to know this before I buy... Appreciate your help.

For those asking where Exactly is the Fuel Pump Relay Located , it is inside the Kick Pannel on the Driver’s Side 😊👍🏽
Good work. Teaching about troubleshooting is so important.

Thanks for taking the time to share this video. It will definitely help in diagnosing my 2004 Sentra's fuel system issues. Nice job! :-)
Thanks for this, I have that same car and was trying to diagnose this same issue. Looks like I need to replace my fuel pump
Great vid!!!!!!!!! Cant wait to get started on my 02 Sentra. Waiting for this South Alabama rain to go away. Thanks to ya!!
Take a bow Met-Tech .Well done.
Excellent Video, Great Camera work, to be able to Do it All one Handed!😉💪
Excellent as always.
Good video I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra 2.0 mine just went out.

Wel done very interesting bro👌
Guys this is 2000~2004 Nissan Sentra. 1.8 2.0 and 2.5 are all the same fuel pump. You can also use a cheap offset outlet Fuel pump from ebay.
yes, I bought the new pump via ebay

Great Video
Did you stick something inside it to make it open I could not tell
How do you take the big Connector off the fuel pump.
Dude that Cap is epic
Is the fuel pump relay once you switch on the ignition continuously on while the engine is running?
Does anyone know where the fuel line in the tank goes I pulled it out the line is the out line it came out plast tube and all
Good diagnosis stark. Well done.
What is that lower cable called and what does it do? The one that is next to the float
looks like the guy that gave you the car was trying to PRY the pump connector off instead of simply pushing in the tab...probably how the pin broke
Excelente

I had the same problem with my mom's car and replaced both camshaft and crankshaft sensor. That fixed the stalling problem.
Ty great job
Did he shared the place where he got the pump ?
At 9:53, first time through, wondering if the pin is going to be in the connector.
I’m wondering if there is a fuel filter housed in the fuel pump or is it up inside the engine compartment.
the white bag attached to the pump body is the filter. some vehicles have an additional filter, typically located under the car.

Just where is the pump relay ??
What's does the brown relay do? next to the fuel pump relay
The brown relay is the rear window defogger relay.
@@papi352583 cool thanks. My fuel pump relay has died so I swapped it with the one next to it.
Wondering what I disabled lol

stop driving it like a maniac ;-)
MET-TECH LLC no trust me, I use this as a commuter car and nothing else. It’s had a catalytic converter and transmission changed out
it's what happens when you buy a $40 ebay fuel pump
Where is the relay located?
behind front left kick panel
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE THE RELAY TO 06 SENTRA 1.8L IS LOCATED ???
It may not be in the same location as the 2001 featured in the video. Have you checked behind the left footwell kick panel ?
Hay my friend, where do I go to place an order for a new complete fuel pump assembly? Of course, I have an old 1999 Nissan Sentra--1.6.
