This performance for me shows how she takes a song and makes it sound so different with each performance at her concerts of which I’ve now been 3 times this has become a kind of Anthem and believe me when you have 2000 or more fans (warriors) singing along trust me it’s Goosebump upon Goosebump time,I have no hesitation in saying as a singer songwriter and performer she’s the best female artist to come out of Europe for a very long time and I’m blessed to have her beautiful words of poetry her words of medicine in my life.only one word for her GENIUS ❤️
Yes, you never know what you're going to get out of an Aurora performance, other than it's going to be great. It's amazing to me that the same person who is an absolute perfectionist in the studio, wanting to get the song absolutely perfect, can be so spontaneous and flexible in her live performances, with literally an unlimited end result. But I love it!
I don't know if you have reacted to the live version of this from the HAIK documentary/concert. If you haven't, highly recommend you do! It is a performance held for two fans setup as part of the experience being recorded for the purposes of the HAIK documentary. That, and if you have time, "Dance on The Moon" live from the Exist for Love Sessions is another incredible rare gem of a live performance.
A as always great reaction from you - I like your comments. For me Aurora is very interesting person (not only great Artist), she is like combination of many sometimes opposite things. For example she has this child view on the world (I mean she kept this child element and wonder) but she is also very wise and mature in topics she talk about or sing about (also very unique view on things), somewhat idealistic but she notice the reality around her and how it is etc :). And I also agree with your comment about warrior and cool context it is used (warrior to spread love and kindness). BTW: in HAIK documentary she said other very interesting thing: like that many people are warriors but especially people who struggle in live, because they have to fight everyday for even small things". Ps. This song is great on concerts where you feel energy of the song and just sing together and rising your fist when you sing "warrior". it felt like very natural thing during this song and I loved it :). It is beautiful and heartbreaking, and my favorite version is from 2020 at the Verftet Online Festival where she accompanies herself on a grand piano. Innocence .. you used that terme few time to describe her, I don't want to argue, but IMO she is far from being innocent, actualy you have to be so clever, wise, opened mind, sensitive and awaire to be able to write those song.
