as a fan of the games, yes both of them, i really want Pedro and Bella's performance to not be like the games, i want to see their interpretation's of the characters.i hope they cast Dolph Lungren as Abby for part II.
I'm curious if WATCHING will give me the same emotional attachment as PLAYING. For instance didn't care for certain character in part 2 until i started playing as them and had to protect another character I actually DID like.
All the press I've seen of the show these past few days is really hyping up Bill and Frank's episode, so that's awesome! Bill's my favourite :D AAAhhhh I can't wait for the show to premiere! 😄😄

@@Ant_370 We all want the trailer for TLOU 3 *because that would mean that there will BE a TLOU 3.* I think we all strongly suspect that Neil Druckmann isn't done with this story...that he has some fairly well fleshed-out ideas about how to wrap up the series in a beautiful and compelling way. And honestly, if he believes enough in the story he crafts, I doubt anyone is going to tell him "no, we don't want to make this." The man is the mind behind some of the most popular and financially-successful games of all time - he basically prints money for Sony, and those guys already greenlit one of the most controversial and expensive-to-make games of all time.* So...I'm 90% sure it's going to happen. But there is a decent chance that he's content to leave things off with Ellie walking off to find her fortune in the world, no longer weighed down by the guilt and trauma she has previously experienced, rather than risking the existing mythic status of his magnum opus with a new TLOU story. Druckmann is clearly willing to take massive risks - TLOU 2 proved that - but now that those risks have paid off (figuratively and literally) in what could be the best video game ever made (right now, after nearly 3 years of reflection, I actually like Part 2 _better_ than the original, which shocks even me - I never thought that would happen), he has more to lose by telling a third story. So who knows? If the answer is "yes," I expect to hear about it when the multiplayer Factions game is released (which should be in a year or less). But remember that the second game was in development for 6 freakin' years, so if it does get made, I wouldn't expect Part 3 to be released until 2028 at the earliest. *Incidentally, I can just imagine the pitch for that game that Druckmann delivered to Sony - "yeah, we want $100 million to create a game in which we brutally kill the most popular video game character of the 21st century with a golf club to the skull, then make the player control another extremely beloved character as she becomes an equally-reprehensible monster while seeking revenge for this heinous act, before finally making the player _become_ the aforementioned golf club-wielder and play her redemption arc for almost half of the game." Like, that's an insane thing to sell to a company that relies on the support of hardcore gamers, who are generally an extremely conservative community (at least in the sense that most gamers don't expect AAA game stories to make them actually...think a lot, or do any deep emotional work wherein they are asked to question their pre-existing perspectives). There's generally a lot more profit in predictability.
Exactly. The writing and acting doesn't mater. The casting agents should be aware that the heart of the characters is in their looks. I would honestly prefer them to cast the worst actors in the world as long as they look exactly like Joel and Ellie I already know. I just want everything to be the same, I'm not open minded at all. I can't believe they've put talent above that and didn't took into consideration my narrow minded opinions.
I don’t understand why there’s so many interviews and showing of these two with how early this series is. Those two aren’t Joel and Ellie and every time I see them like this I know more and more I have no desire to watch it
They seem like they have such a genuine love for each other. It's sweet.
Yeah, they clearly have a bond!
Within 30 seconds of this interview I could tell that this duo is the PERFECT Joel and Ellie.
O
i now see it, she has ellie in her eyes, it's actually quite impressive
pedro looks like such a comforting person to be around
they really are joel and ellie come to life even with their own voices, i absolutely CANNOT WAIT for this series!!!
"I got to snap a finger" Unlucky David lol
Well, Bill and Frank episode just aired and WTF that was one of the best piece of media I've ever seen! This show is just doing amazing
I'm so jealous that some people have already seen a few episodes.
Bella is just incredible. Glad they both, Pedro and Bella worked together in this series. Hope it'll be more than just 2 seasons
If the relationship between these 2 actors came to the screens the show would ne a hit.
let's hope HBO Max doesn't crash like it did with Euphoria when this one airs
Pedro with the salt and pepper hair color goes a long way to make him look like video game Joel.
Dude has knowledge of the games and you can tell that by his questions.
Pedro Pascal & Bella Ramsey 🔥
4:11 it’s David’s finger😭
Ellie… tell them Ellie is the little girl…that broke your fucking finger.

Dolph as Abby🤣
Please no we don't want part 2 in the TV show it's already terrible in the video game
Much as I do like Abby (gasp!) that comment made me genuinely laugh out loud.
LOL

so cute. this is how you do an interview
O Loved this Interview , I love these actors🤩I Hope to see the Tv Show:The Last of Us, I'm so Excited 😆Ho My God!
NOOO TELL ME THE EPISODES
Yes, she does not look like Ellie from the game but I feel she is giving Ellie's vibe. I will judge after I watch the show
BELLA GOT TO SNAP A FINGER PEOPLE. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW
Fitting they uses Ashley Johnson as Ellies mam cause Bella and Ashley do have a similar appearance, ie they could be related.
Did they make pedro cover his hand tat just for the interview??
Great first question
they are so good at game of throne!
How many episodes are there in total im confused
10 episodes were filmed but they were edited into 9 which is what they meant when they talked about "numbers that we know or they know". Pedro and Bella filmed 10 but for us it's gonna be 9.
@@MatiZ815 oooooooh alright 👍🏽
The episodes had to be episode 3 with Druckmann as director and the episode related to Winter and the DLC I AM SURE OF IT
Neil druckman didn’t direct episode 3. Peter Hoar did. That episode is about Bill and Frank.
@@ccg4713 Which episode is the museum scene?
@@cristrivino7820 episode 2 most likely. I believe that one was Neil Druckmann
Also, he calls it a ‘joel voice’ but isnt it just pedro with a southern accent lol
The word "exclusive" must mean something different to you since they have done so many interviews this past week about the show 😅
Instead of a post credit scene for the season finale, imagine we get a teaser trailer for TLOU 3?
😳
As great as that would be for the fans of the games, it would totally alienate people who only watch the show and have never played the game
@@Antec76 F those people 😄 I want the trailer for TLOU 3

BOOO not telling us which two episodes. Got to be the last two though, since if it follows the game both of them will have some badass scenes.

Yes, she is. 🙂
They could deep fake the faces with the originals.... it would be better than that.
