1 in 3400909 queen fans have heard of this song , this is REAL queen god bless your fred , you made my childhood full of light , 30 years on and this is still the best band england has ever produced
This is 100% the best version of this song, seeing Freddie playing the piano with Brian absolutely nailing that guitar is an awesome sight and sound. Thank God for Queen
Its such a shame today's youth (my generation) don't even know who Queen are and the incredible musical work they've done. This song is amazing, heck, pretty much all of their early songs are amazing. Never get tired of listening to those albums. Best band in history in my opinion.
I'm a music teacher in an elementary school, and I promise you my students know who Queen are - in fact, I had my chorus perform '39 last year. They did an amazing job. Keep the faith!
I'm sure the only reason they know Queen is from the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. Don't get me wrong, I'm Freddie Mercury's biggest fan and because of Queens massive accomplishments, the kids should know of them but unfortunately that's not the case.
@@cindywilbur4148 Did you see the time stamp on my comment? The movie my students originally heard BoRap from was Wayne’s World! Besides - who cares where they hear it? The legacy will continue…
Freddie's gorgeous, and so is his hair. How could you even say that he's ugly?! His beauty and his voice can make you break down in tears. I guess some people just don't know true beauty when they see it. He's the most beautyfulist persian man i've ever seen in my life-in history! I respect and love him as a friend...R.I.P
Freddie, "A Little Number Called White Queen". Are you kidding? This is a huge Queen Number!. This song encapsulates everything from a great range of vocals, beautiful lyrics and brilliant guitar solo, with Freddie's passionate accompaniment on piano. It subtlely draws you into a man's desire for a secret woman.
Esta canción es otra obra de arte musical súper compleja de Queen , magistralmente interpretada en ese glorioso piano por el genio de Freddie Mercury , gracias por la gloriosa música !
I was 15 in 1975 and saw this three rows from the stage at the Edinburgh Playhouse,it lives with me forever, just magical memorable ,the ending with,in the lap of the Gods was scary.........bodies just everywhere .but just awsome time
Esta canción es otra obra de arte de Queen , interpretada magistralmente en ese piano por el genio de Freddie Mercury. Una canción súper compleja musicalmente hablando , gracias Queen por la gloriosa música para la eternidad !!
was thinking just the same right now, then I read your comment...His voice is something so unique and perfect can soothe me down every time I go throughout a bad period
So sad her eyes smiling dark eyes So sad her eyes as it began On such a breathless night as this Upon my brow the lightest kiss I walked alone And all around the air did SAY My lady soon will stir this way In sorrow known The white queen walks And the night grows pale Stars of lovingness in her hair Heeding unheard pleading one word So sad my eyes she cannot see
This clip is BRILLIANT! I've seen pirate copies of the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 gig before, but none of them have had 'White Queen' on them. Can't thank you enough for posting this. A classic song from my all-time favourite albums! Up yours Simon Cowell, this is REAL talent. Crawl back into your hole little man and watch pure class perform. Freddie Mercury lives forever!!!! Simon Cowell you are unworthy to worship at Freddie's feet!
Freddie looks so young, but boy he's amazingly talented. What a voice he has - so unique. No one else like him; he's missed by so many people. What a tragic loss for the entire world. Brian's guitar playing is always fantastic. Queen - at the top of my list of all-time favorite bands!! 5 stars!
How did thee fare what have thee seen The mother of the willow green I call her name And 'neath her window have I stayed I loved the footsteps that she made And when she came White queen how my heart did ache And dry my lips no word would make So still I wait My goddess hear my darkest fear I speak too late It's for evermore that I wait Dear friend goodbye No tears in my eyes So sad it ends as it began
So pure so....eh Queen. This is the summum of all musical efforts Queen wil be for ever over 50.000years maybe on other planets they wil listen with great frespect to Queen.
Waaaaaaw! how I do love early Queen! Early years of FREDDIE! He's so awesome! I love all the period of Queen existing! omg, they are very strong group! Ya, that's it!
''Ha ha! O.k darlings this is a little-delicate little number called 'White... Queen...''. Amazing song wow! Freddie was an awsome human being in this world,I'm so happy he had a great sence of humour, most people don't.
That's right. Everyboys listen mostly another musician. I solved so many problems on my head with this guys. If you live, you have to know who is this guys.!
One of the best songs I've ever heard. A piece of art composed by Mr. Brian May I must say... An of course marvellous done by Roger, Freddie and John too... But there's one thing that pisses me off, the only captured Freddie's perfomance, I mean, the rest of the band is not shown... Brian did a beautiful guitar work and he doesn´t appear... Anyway... Thanks for this great video!
Wow! I'm so very happy that Queen music makes your hair stand on end still - so long after Freddie's untimely death. If I had any hair left on my head, I feel sure Fred would have called it to attention - and it would've stood up instantly at his command. Thank you for helping to keep his music alive. Viva Freddie!
Tommygun, Thanks so much for uploading this. I always thought that Queen was at their best in the early days. Maybe not, but I started listening to Queen since their first album and I remember the most fondly their first albums.
@bulsara86 I first saw Queen in 1973 and many times subsequently. I agree with your comment totally. A very perceptive and intuitive post encapsulating everything I, and I'm sure countless others, feel and felt about the band. Well done.
the thing i prefer about this one more is the piano and the electric guitar solo, where as in the studio its acoustic guitar and a citar solo. the live version really brings the true nature of the song to life.

The live version is better than the studio. No piano on the studio version. The piano'guitar interplay is out of this world - and that voice!
This is 100% the best version of this song, seeing Freddie playing the piano with Brian absolutely nailing that guitar is an awesome sight and sound. Thank God for Queen

Adding the piano to this song makes it sound beautiful.
Not necessarily. The album version is just as pretty.
@@agogobell28 Nah, better with piano

"Sends shivers down my spine"
best musician of all time
nothing compares to this, what a band!!!!!!
This is the Queen i love ! I saw them twice in Detroit in 74! Freddie, Brian, Roger, And John ! Incredible!
Una delle migliori versioni live di un brano poco conosciuto e mai passato in radio negli ultimi 15 anni..Very Queen
one of my favourites - the musical element is perfect - the guitar solo and the drumming are unbeatable
it's wonderful! everytime that i listen to this song I cry !

Had I not read one of Queens biographies I would not have known about this great song. Thanks
Me too!! It´s impresionante!! Like a singer too!! Beutiful voice!

Esta canción es una obra de arte 🖼, el 🎹 de Freddie y la 🎸 de Brian son espectaculares ; que gloria musical es Queen y su White Queen 👏🏻👏🏻👑👑
I guess it's Queen's song i love the most.
How did thee fare what have thee seen
The mother of the willow green
I call her name
And 'neath her window have I stayed
I loved the footsteps that she made
And when she came
White queen how my heart did ache
And dry my lips no word would make
So still I wait
My goddess hear my darkest fear
I speak too late
It's for evermore that I wait
Dear friend goodbye
No tears in my eyes
So sad it ends as it began
fabulous, Freddie and the boys!
Fabulous version, wish it was out on cd or download

Brilliant! Queen!
Espectacular, bellisimo!
I love freddies introduction, "Okay darlings, this is a delicate little number...called white queen"
the thing i prefer about this one more is the piano and the electric guitar solo, where as in the studio its acoustic guitar and a citar solo. the live version really brings the true nature of the song to life.
I love this sung, it´s like a beautiful poem!
I think it´s so romantic U_U!
