I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos! It is so incredibly isolating to have a child with behavioural issues and absolutely no one talks about this. I can’t talk to my friends or family because there is huge stigma. Thank you! ❤❤❤

Congratulations on your new guinea pigs. They are brilliant pets. In case you don’t know, boys often fall out and having 3 boys together isn’t advisable. You might find you have issues as they hit puberty. Your hutch is too small for when they grow up too.
@@laurascot9277 Hi Laura, you don't know me so I don't expect you to know this but before I was 'mum' I was a trained zoo keeper. Males can fight, however I am able to see warning signs and change the situation if needs be. They've established a hierarchy already so fingers crossed it will be smooth sailing. Also I specifically bought this hutch because you can double up with a second one (so cool!) as I wasn't sure how young we were getting them or even if we would end up getting them, I wanted to start small and add. Obviously didn't plan on three! So I have already ordered the next part. Appreciate your concern for these lovely animals, we have been loving having them as part of our family and I'm excited to try fleece bedding as this was not a thing 15 years ago when I last raised them! Hi, I am glad you feel prepared and hope you have good luck but unless you have a lot more space on the same level, you are likely to run into problems. I work in a Guinea pig rescue and have my own boys and they are complicated and ever changing! I know little about zoo animals however so can’t compare. There is lots of great advice on RUclips e.g. Scotty’s Animals and Saskia from LA Guinea Pig rescue. Squeak Dreams is a good one for the UK too. Hope this helps!
Also, enjoy the fleece. I recommend a rubber brush to get rid of the hay and hair before you wash, and a pet laundry bag. (Apologies if you already know this!)
@@laurascot9277 I really appreciate how you care so much for guinea pigs that you feel the need to warn me, however a very quick video does not mean you know our life, our set up, or how capable I am in handling guinea pigs. I'm not sure why you have decided I don't know what I'm doing, or that I need warning but I assure you they are in a very good home with lots of space, nutrition and enrichment and will live happily. Hope this eases your mind.
