I want to climb out of the valley whenever I’m in it. It’s the place where you can feel down, not up. It’s not up to us to determine when and how we get out.
Joshua was called to fight in the book of Joshua and he had to go to the low place to understand what his call would be in the future. His call was to fight to get his people to the Promised Land. So, he was called to fight in the valley.
The calling that you have in the future may call you to fight through some tough experiences and push through to what He’s calling you to do. Your current fight might be what strengthens you to reach the place He wants you to be. When He calls you, He’s calling His warriors. If you want to be in the Lord’s Army, then you need to get ready for the war. We can’t even begin to talk about victory without the battle. That’s part of the calling.
A lot of your pain foreshadows your future promise. We have to get through what we go through to get to what God wants us to get to. I had to understand that God wants me to use everything He’s given me to move closer to His purpose. We might not enjoy being in the valley, but we have to change our perspective.
We often let the things that we go through go through us. It has Godlike powers over us, how we think, and the outcome of the situation. While we’re going through it, it shouldn’t be going through us and determining the output.
If what you see is all you see, you do not see what needs to be seen. My dad told me that all the time and now I’m telling you.
Be steadfast, unmovable, always abound in the work of the Lord and know that it will not go in vain!

I didn't want to be that person who comments on Every video but, I find that God is using you to speak to me (ever since your testimony about being in the tunnel). I had to replay this. Something happened today and I was feeling some type of way and there was a tightening in my chest the whole day. As you were speaking I felt all of that go away and started to feel lighter. Been in the valley. Trying to worship,praise and pray out of it. I lack community and I realized I'm doing myself a disservice by not connecting to one (physically not virtually.)
No matter what happens, please don't stop putting these out. You have no idea their value and impact. Continue being faithful and a blessing.

Jonathan this encouraging!! As a Senior I leave In A Senior Residence. I Know God Has Assign Me To Be here. I’m Thankful And Grateful To Be A Senior! He Can Use Whom He Choose For His Purpose. I Have Seen So Much And Taste The Good, And Evil. His Equipping Me In This Spiritual Warfare. I Strongly Agree!! It’s Not Flesh And Blood. I Will Stand Firm!! I Can Not Do It Alone!! Thank you 🙏🏼 I’ve been in a journey thru a valley these last 5-6 weeks and more to come, and even tho I have no one to help me in these moments (I have brothers and friends but they still don’t understand the spiritual side of life) I see you and your dad are my aaron and hur listening to your dads sermons and your teachings is what’s keeping my hands up in my battle 🙌 THANK YOU!!!! and may GOD continue to bless y’all for everything y’all do.

This valley is very deep and emotionally hard. I pray as I attend to the needs of my very ill spouse. I know I'm not alone, I pray for peace, guidance and understanding. I do cry (alone), and then I march forward! Amen. God protect the Evans family as they help me and all of us walk with the Lord!
Absolutely God breathed! Thank you Jonathan for being a conduit from the Lord to us. Not only encouraged, but instructed on the how to climb out of the valley. The balance of truth from scripture and transparency from your own life is what activates. I consider you a mentor in my life, so thankful for you brother.
Jonathan, its September 2022, I heard you speaking on your dads radio broadcast and I was instantliy, Inspiried, Blessed and Motivated. Listening to you today encouraged me as well. Im tired. I got saved in the early 80's now were in 2022. These last five years have be hard. I'm tired of being lied on, harrassed, etc God knows. You have inspiried me to hold on and Climb out of the Valley, your right, I can't do it by myself, Im spiritually exhausted. Time for reinforcements. Thank you Jonathan for being a man of God and following the call.

I needed this. I'm in a very tough situation. My dad died of COVID in December of 2020, My mom has dementia and my only 28 year old son has been diagnoised with bipolar disorder. I'm struggling. Please pray for me and my sister as we care for mom and please pray for my son to acknowledge his situation so that he can be independent. The sturggle is real yawl.
