Would be interested to know if your insurance company has a price variant or policy change on self drive journeys? As 98% of accidents are human error I can see this having an effect on insurance claims. Really interesting video, thanks

I'd always be too anxious or reflexive to grab the steering wheel. ... Probably the same hardwiring as grabing a mouse cord on my wireless mouse. haha
Well planes use autopilot features so it's not a bad idea for cars but It doesn't work as well in places like NY because of the outrageously amount of things that can go wrong. We have too many obstacles and just like Boston people will cut you off. I heard that there was a recall on the Cyber truck for the rearview camera issue. There is a lagging problem with it but they will be fixing it. The FSD system is very impressive and glad it makes sure that you still are aware of your surroundings. Wonder if they would take into consideration that someone who is hurt and needs to get to a nearby hospital and passes out, to still make the trip or at the very least call for an ambulance giving the location where you are. So far so good on simple tasks but has a ways to go before I would trust A.I.
Hahaha a plane is flying in the sky, it doesn’t have to worry about colliding with everything even inch it moves.

How is it with detecting small vehicles like motorcycles and scooters? I heard a couple of horror stories of bikes getting rear ended because it detected the bike as a far away vehicle.
Although if it was getting tripped up by a drainage hole in the parking lot, I expect it to be able to detect a motorcycle, so maybe they've improved it(the rear endings were on older Tesla models; not the Cyber truck)
I ride a motorcycle so I get a little nervous when a Tesla is nearby 😅 although I like the cars themselves

Idk man, seems like the first users are being used as guinea pigs. I personally wouldn't use it yet. On a side note, are you into 80s or 90s cars, and if so, which car would you get? I'm digging mid 80s Nissan 300zx type cars rn.
I'm not. I love 70's and 60's. If I was to buy a classic personally I would go that way. Or something new like this. Dream car is a Countach
@TheXtremeChannelMrX countach is also my dream car, and I would also prefer a 60s or 70s muscle car, but I was talking about something obtainable for not so rich folks like me 😅... mid 80s is in the middle of cool and comfortable. At least comfortable enough to be a daily and depending on the car it's somewhat obtainable.

My brothers BMW has self driving. I had a really difficult time trusting it although it did very well. FSD means: For Stupid Drivers as it’s far better than most idiots on the road
