I think later on, Zoro state that the crew do get stronger after every island they visit. So, that maybe why there some inconsistency with their power.

Love the zoro placement. Really like seeing Convo about if he was stronger then Arlong. Lately I have been wondering how strong was a east blue Luffy. Like if he knew Crocodile weakness could he fight him at that point or did he get gradually stronger through his previous opponents. Good vid and placements 💯
I always assumed Luffy became stronger each arc, though it'd make sense if he only became stronger when legit beaten up or reached his limits (Don Krieg, Arlong, Crocodile multiple times, Lucci)
While I don't think Luffy got like physically stronger throughout the east blue saga, I think he learned a lot. Luffy starting his journey is physically insane, over 10x the average human's strength would be underselling him.
But over the east blue, Luffy learns a lot through battle experience. He hasn't had anyone to fight at his level to really improve that.
Zoro is pretty much the exact opposite. He is already battle hardened at his introduction, but as soon as he takes that first L, he immediately starts physically working out.
According to Oda's retcons of advance armament during Udon (turning the steel cutting ability Zoro uses into Ryou or what the samurai called Advanced haki), Zoro should have been able to cut Crocodile without the need for water right after beating Daz Bones.

@@pokeballblaze9835Not so much agendas as bias they don't seem to know they have which is weird. Most fiction scalers do though, one piece powering up some characters while leaving some leads to this I would say. The addition of haki is a big reason for this in my opinion.
Really good power scaling, flawless for now, every arc gets harder and harder to power scale and it takes a lot of time, I subscribed and cant wait for you to continue this series, good luck

I’m just about to finish the east blue manga so this is great timing!
I really think this is the only stretch of story that you could make an argument for Zoro being stronger than Luffy. I personally don't think he ever was but sometimes I see the way Arlong reacts to Zoro's injuries and I start to rethink a little. Dude was putting in serious work with injuries that would've made a normal person bedridden for months. I think a healthy Zoro here almost certainly beats Arlong, and maybe even puts him down faster than Luffy did.
I think the other place this argument might hold weight is right after the time skip. Zoro doesn't get any real fights until Wano, granted these fights were with Enma. It's a weird gray area because Zoro is so hard to place until Wano.
Imo Zoro was stronger before Luffy got G2 and G3. Also it seemed that Zoro was also stronger than Luffy in early post-ts.
Gotta remember early ts luffy had gear 4, he was just never forced to use it so I’d say he’s definitely stronger than Zoro then. Pre enies lobby is a bit of a toss up though

i cannot stand one piece as a anime series. 999 episodes draggged all the wayyyy on. i dropped it. i read it though. and only care about shanks, dragon, df origins. and what happened to the world before it was destroyed and became the one piece world.@@weeaboo-warrior

I love your videos and just subscribed with notifications on. I have a a few questions. Will you make make one or multiple tierlist for mha because there are different versions of characters and many characters (I would love to see each version get ranked)? Will you be including the MHA movies? Will you be using MHA vigilates feats for them? When will the tierlist come out? Hopefully Im not asking too many question but you're super entertaining.
I’m definitely going to make a MHA list. It will probably be made when the show is over and include everything canon. Vigilantes might get its own list.

Awesome video!! In my opinion, Gin and Heguma should be above in the top. For what we have seen. Jin could be the strongest official among pirates in the East Blue Saga. He defeated Sanji on a 1v1. I know Sanji was hurt by Pearl before but the same could be applied to his match against Kurobi and there is no doubt that Sanji demolished Kurobi out of the water. On the other hand, Heguma had a bounty of 8 millions (higher than Nyaban brothers, for example). Moreover, he was capable of escaping from Shanks by using a smoke bomb. I know that bounty isnt a synonym for strength or power, but at that point of the story I think that it was somehow.

I just have one little nitpick: a little known fact, is that despite Zoro fights Hachi, it's actually Kuroobi who is Arlong's first mate. Oda said so himself a couple times.
It actually makes sense if you look, since Kuroobi is acting more like a first mate than both Chew and Hachi: testing Nami's alliegance, for example.
The manga states Hachi is his first mate though? It’s in chapter 69.
It does? Mine states Hachi is "one of Arlong's Commanders", although I have the official Spanish (European) version. I don't know what the original manga states in Japanese, but I'm quite sure that it is never stated who is the "first mate", at least in the Spanish version.
I also know that in the official English character guide "One Piece, Red, Grand Characters" Oda lists the bounties of Arlong's Commanders as this:
-Chuu: 7 million berries
-Hachi: 8 million berries
-Kuroobi: 9 million berries.
But if you say that one version calls Hachi first mate, I guess it complicates matters. Sadly, I can't read japanese

Hey man can you tell me what tiers from the middle earth tier list are most comparable than the tiers from this vid (or vise versa)
I would have scaled both Higuma and Gin higher than that, but I generally agree with the list. How will you divide next arcs? Will you cover from Arabasta to Marineford and then in another video all the post-ts?
Next one will be include up to Alabasta. Then probably Skypia after that and so on. This will be a long series.

Most one piece power levels say that kuroobi is stronger then hatchi but personally i think hatchi is stronger so i think your one piece tier list is the most accurate on youtube he almost defeated zoro which is no easy feat

did you not watch the video? I explain that tier is only for non scalables above everyone else. there is no point to make a separate tier just for smoker and it will just make all of the pictures smaller for no real reason. @@mephisto........7746

I always thought don Kreig and luffy fight was werid because he shot those sharp bullets which luffy got damaged by which is werid because luffy is immune to bullets but the only reason they hurt him is they were sharper

Usopp won with intelligence and luck. In most normal circumstances he wouldn't be close to Chew's strength.
@@weeaboo-warrior i wouldnt say luck though. It was his intelligence or cockyness of Chu, and intelligence Definity comes under strength while fighting. Which means either Chu should be lower in the list due to his cockyness or usop should be higher in the list due to his intelligence.

I didnt say Chu is weaker physically but he is cocky and overconfident. I dont see usop winning in any scenario against kuroobi. They absolutely cant be in same tier even though have same almost equal physical strength.
@@silentlytriggered9001 idk, Chew’s water canon is pretty powerful. If he aimed a bit more to the right it would have killed Usopp. Maybe you could put Chew one tier down, but I wouldn’t go more than that.
Mihawk pullin up to the East Blue was like when I used to terrorize Goldshire as a Horde max level
I feel like you are underrating Higuma on this list. Sure he gets dealt with quite easily by shanks but we should note that in a world of pirates who travel the seas of the world Higuma is a mountain bandit and his influence only covers a singular island in the story. Still he has a relatively high bounty on east blue standards and is easily higher on my list than let's say alvida. If he met Luffy in the main story line I suppose he could have presented as much challenge as many of the other antagonists of east blue.
He could be higher, but bounty isn't a direct indication of strength. He might have had such a high bounty due to all of the people he murdered.

Mihawk > Shanks is a good take that I know a lot of people tend to disagree with. Why would Oda make a character specifically be the world's strongest swordsman and then make him the second strongest guy that uses a sword?
oda also mentioned mihawk being the strongest swordsman in one of the more recent manga chapters. safe to say. hes stronger than shanks as a swordsman. not sure about haki but definetly more skilled
Damn , Zoro beat up a bunch of fish men with a cut given by Mihawk and with just one sword and was unhinged , He just sat on the throne and waited for Luffy and then went to save Usopp which we all know how that went

Out of curiosity who do you actually think is stronger, Shanks or Mihawk? I personally think Mihawk because I consider Shanks to be a swordsman and Mihawk is Zoro’s goal and I don’t think that Oda would make Zoro’s goal redundant. I agreed with everything and look forward to seeing more parts!
It’s hard to say for now. If Shank’s main fighting style ends up being his sword, Mihawk should be stronger. If Shanks has other abilities we don’t know about yet he might be stronger.

Shanks is definitionally the stronger dude but you don’t become the ‘worlds strongest swordsman’ if another dude who uses a sword can beat you in a fight. Shanks could have twice as much raw haki output and potential and it wouldn’t actually affect anything - for whatever reason, Mihawk’s title says that he is always pulling the W in a fight.
I'd think shanks is stronger but the only reason I back this up is because shanks is one of the best haki users in one piece (hopefully you know what haki is, otherwise sorry for the spoiler) while mihawks is yet not proven, also at marineford mihawk says "I'll happily fight whitebeard(strongest man ever) but red hair is another matter entirely", so as much as mihawk is powerful you just have to keep in mind that shank's conquers haki could prob take mihawk down.
@@EarthySign09 I am completely caught up with the series and everything that you just said is head canon. I am not gonna argue whom is stronger because it is pointless but I will counter both of your points real quick. You do not know for a fact that Shanks has one of the strongest haki in the series. I would honestly put my money on Fujitora having stronger haki than Shanks just purely based on feats. As for your next point, you cannot be 100% certain that Mihawk was scared of fighting Shanks at Marineford. Another interpretation of what Mihawk said could very well be that he doesn’t want to kill his friend.

What would make you place Sanji up a tier?
@@weeaboo-warrior The main reason is because Sanji stated the kicks that he tanked daily from Zeff were 10x stronger than Kurobi’s punches. Kurobi’s inferior, Hachi was stated to be able to destroy Arlong Park with mere wind pressure. A fully healthy Sanji would definitely be able to take blows from Arlong and his kicking AP being comparable to Gum Gum pistols is a massive feat. Because the kicks that were comparable were unamed kicks. As you know, Sanji’s named kicks(Kick Course) have far more power. His collier strike, flanchet, tendron, and his strongest move at this time, mouton shot. Furthermore, Sanji’s speed increases when he does these combos as Kurobi couldn’t react at all. A healthy Zoro’s best feats are beating Kuro’s Sub-Fishman underlings. Arlong seeing Zoro’s scar doesn’t mean a healthy Zoro would win. As it’s Zoro’s raw endurance that frightened him as he was afraid that if he grew stronger with this level of endurance he could be a problem in the future. Also, Arlong calling them both weaklings isn’t a defeater either. As he said the same to Luffy multiple times even after Luffy no-diffed Momo with his brand new named attack and when Luffy attacked him with named attacks. Arlong is extremely arrogant, almost at the point of denial due to his hatred of the human race. Looking at Sanji and Zoro’s feats, Sanji has better physical striking and speed while Zoro has better lifting, and endurance. They’re on the same level, with Zoro edging due to slightly better AP. Luffy and Arlong are the ones that make a sizable gap.

His prime could be higher. There is a good chance he was at least above Krieg.
1:59 minutes in, slippery Alvida should be WAYYY higher because as she said herself, her fruit makes every attack slip of her body, we haven't seen that work but if it means every physical attack then it works like a logia, which would make her really strong in the East Blue.
That’s true, but we really don’t know if it works on every type of attack yet. Also someone like Ussop could arguably beat her by setting her surroundings on fire.
One Piece Powerscaling? You have no idea the monster you've unleashed, these powers are far beyond your comprehension.

One of the biggest arguments for powescaling in one piece is the time skip.. was someone weak before? Oh theyre probably strong now coz time skip, we havent (really) seen crocodile, buggy or really many of these characters post time skip, they could be alot stronger
I would put alvida with the fruit much higher due to the fact really no one can hit her unless they have haki or a special ability
yeah that's a really OP ability. she could definitely be higher, it's just hard to say for now. there is ways she could be defeated without directly trying to strike her, for example poison gas, a giant explosion, Chu's big water spitting attack, ect.
Skipped to the end and now I’m gonna comment. Since I didn’t watch the whole video I won’t talk about the ones I only slightly disagree with but the 2 I’m 100% sure are straight up wrong are Tashigi and Gin. Tashigi is a trained marine and Smoker’s right hand on the island in the east blue that gets the most pirate traffic she is at bare minimum high east blue probably low grand line. And Gin beat Sanji in a fight so he should at least be around Sanji’s level.
Tashigi has no feats to put her higher during the East Blue saga. Gin was fighting an injured Sanji, which is why he did so well. Gin has to be a tier below Krieg, so if anything, Sanji would just have to be downscaled. Gin can't be upscaled except to higher in the tier he is in.

His spot only represents the minuscule power he decided to use on the straw hats. Of course his full power is off the charts!
Fun fact Hachi was not Arlongs first mate, Kurobi was, The reason Sanji fought him instead of zoro was because zoro was still injured from Mihawk
The manga directly calls Hachi Alrong’s first mate, unless the official English translations are wrong.

I do think that during east blue and even a bit in the grand line zoro was stronger than luffy the only reason it seems that he’s not is because he’s always injured and never at full strength zoro may have even been stronger until enies lobby
