I went to Teamlabs a few days after it opened, last February. First time to Japan and i only had 7 days but i will absolutely be back, i fell so hard in love and really didn’t expect to. I think your art palettes are very Japanese though, all powerful subtlety.
Oh great- yes we are a house of Japanophiles now- my daughter fell in love with the place too! Glad you think my work evolves Japan- I don't think it's concious, but I do look at a lot of Japanese art, so it probably filters through.
