This was so refreshing to see. Our days often look like this and sometimes I wonder if I’m the only one who has life going on while we’re homeschooling. Thank you 😊
Love this video! It’s so interesting to see how each family uses Gather Round! This was the first unit we did this school year and we loved it so so much. So much good information. Thanks for sharing💜
A busy bin for my pre schooler would be an awesome idea for gather round as she goes into a different room to play when we do gather round together!!! We also love to break and talk about the lesson within the lesson!!! We definitely have real life happening as well!!! Jackson‘s cow is awesome!!!
I can't thank you enough for this video. It was funny, serious, so full of God and so fun to get a peek into your school days! I have this unit in mind for next year and this video got me all excited for it!!
This was so helpful! Thank you for filming Also, I loved how you have your kids participate in reading with you. I’ll be starting Gather Round for the first time and this video makes me excited to start!
Just wanted to mention to you that your channel truly has inspired me so much and given me so much encouragement! Your homeschool content is one of mynfavorites i follow - i love your ideas! i am going to be starting with Gather 'Round Oceans Unit with my kids Feb 26th! I also watched your DIY oceans unit study which is where i got some good ideas - Thank you for that! I did have a technical question for you. I noticed on this video in order to open a video link with the unit you had to go to the app to acces that. Is there a way where when you download the teachers guide on an ipad lets say - can you just click on the links in the teachers guides and get to the video that way directly?
Hi! I've been following you for a while. I would love to know how you schedule everything in, or if you schedule. Since you do so many different things at the same time, from day to day how do you plan it all?
Love it! I wondering how do you balance school activities/homework with the units/activities you do at home? My kids go to school but I'm trying to incorporate units/activities at home. Thank you for sharing!!
That’s such a great idea! Especially if you want to teach them things that they won’t learn at school!! Doing it on nights, weekends, breaks-anywhere it fits in for your family is great!
If you haven't already could you possible do a video based on "How I plan my kids homeschool days" Where you include how you pick the curriculum they are going to use, how to choose what days they are doing what, etc. (if you already have a video similar could you please tell me the title ) thanks !!
Thank you so much for sharing! I'm considering starting Gather Round and this was very helpful! So, I have a random question lol what kind of couch do you have? Where did you get it? I'm praying and hoping for a couch this year, the one I have is not very comfy, and yours looks like exactly what I'm looking for!!!
Thank you for sharing! I have 2 Gather Round Units that we haven't used yet because I just wasn't confident in how to do it with all of my five children (ages 12-3). I really like how you did it though! How long does it usually take you to get through 1 lesson? Also, what other subjects do you do with your older boys? Maybe you made a video on that and I haven't seen it yet! lol :)
You are so welcome! It usually takes us 30-45 minutes depending on if we add in videos, do hands on activities…could take an hour…depends how much you discuss, etc. I do have curriculum picks videos-let me grab the links!
Hi. I would love any tips for a new homeschool mom of a kindergartener or your 6 year old. How do you teach her? I also didnt go to school in this country so i don't know how to build a study or where to even start. Any tips?
Hi! I would start with the Ready to Read program from Gather Round Homeschool. It makes it super easy! Here’s a video of us doing a lesson! ruclips.net/video/4NiZEdlaIC8/видео.html I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions😊 Also, here’s a link to my Instagram: instagram.com/rooted_homelife/

I do just want to add that you could just do Gather ‘Round plus math and that would technically be enough 😊
