Alex the first call in this video was actually a garbage can on fire if you had went into the station with the two subway cars it would have been by the stairs to the street

The only one unrealistic thing in this game is that the taxis pull over for emergency cars.
alex it doesn’t matter if you have lights and sirens on you can go down the wrong way down a street. if of course it’s not blocked cars. as long as you can get to the call safely and quickly

You have to look wich way the traffic lights are facing then you will know if it's a one way road or a two way road. I know this because I have been to New York City (NYC) many times. Plus I live in NY! plus happy to give you info!
@thenorthernalex basically the street system is pretty straightforward. Whether its going south to north or east to west the direction of travel changes every next street. Meaning if the first street is East to West than the next one will be west to east. You can also tell it with the arrows on the beginning of every street.
Am from new york, the way the game is set up there is no indication given besides traffic; Normally there would be one way signs or do not enter signs as well as white "stop lines" on only one end.
Yeah naturally, I just thought there is a hidden pattern I could follow. Oh well just have to play often enough to remember the majors streets

There are ways to tell you Alex, they have signs and buses that tell you the last stop on the top

the smoke in this game is very realistic the best I ever have seen, can not wait for the MP to work but who/what will dispatch police/fire/EMUs etc so everyone will not end up in the same place or a fire will burn out of control and a city block would burn down!

I can make a tutorial showcasing the vehicles but there is nothing more to do but drive around with EMS and NYPD
I tried to enjoy this game but lack of tutorials and the camera control made me go nuts. Looks sweet though

How come you are the only one fighting this fire? Looks like your firemen has some mind power to make things work without touching them. How come you man is alway bending his head so far down? This game still needs more fixing up! I have this game, but don't play much, because of all the bugs. The fire trucks rocks to much when driving them. The cars on the roads, truns to much when moving out of your way. The firemen on the ladder truck, looks like he taking a big long piss!

How do you get your game to not lag and have a terrible frame rate?
Can you do a tutorial on all of the basic controls and functions of the truck? Things like hooking up hoses, connecting to hydrants, etc. I bought the game but found it quite difficult to figure out. I put a good hour into it and didn’t get far.

How do i open the fire station doors to let my truck out and how do i connect the hose to the fire hydrant

You need to connect the hose to the pump and a nozzle to the hose. Then you just right click to zoom and aim in and left click to spray water
I couldn't get into this... I just couldn't work it out. Bought it when it got its initial EA release and not been too awe inspired by it.
I need to look into a players guide or something.
