@James Garrison lol lemon water can't hurt you. Y'all are ridiculous in these comments. Lemon acid processes as alkaline once in the body. Diseases, like cancer can not live on the alkaline scale. A full alkaline diet is actually what's best for the body. This is a very short and simple video that y'all are having a very hard time understanding.

Citric acid is an acid, its in the name, and "processes as an alkaline" isnt a thing, correct me with a source if im wrong.
Cancer cells and other diseases cannot exist in an alkaline environment, just as your normal body cells cannot exist in an alkaline environment.
Your body has a large amount of regulating mechanisms to keep the pH almost completely constant, as anything else would be deadly.

I know that fresh lemons would be better if you could get them. But, I don't always have access to fresh lemons. And, so, when I don't have access, I was just wondering if lemon juice (in a bottle) would be almost as good? Thanks! Enjoyed your video!

I've been drinking lemon water for years lemon has a lot of benefits for the body. Most recently I started drinking alkaline water because they say Cancer Cannot grow in an alkaline environment. The thing is your body converts everything you drink over to the same pH when it digests so drinking the alkaline water isn't making your system alkaline. But I've never heard anything more ridiculous than adding lemon to your water to make it alkaline and for those of you saying you add lemon to the water so when you drink it it digests as alkaline that's not the same as drinking alkaline water. What she said was she was making alkaline water not that this will digest into your system as alkaline so this does not make alkaline water it makes acidic water if you tested the water. She's definitely confusing a lot of people. I've been drinking a lot of alkaline water with a pH around 9.5 and I love the taste of it because it doesn't have that chlorine taste it just tastes very pure to me.

Let me help you guys out saying it's not scientific. Raw lime juice has a negative PRAL value, so even though it's acidic using a pH strip, it's alkaline-forming once consumed. When it comes to net acid load in the human diet, high PRAL foods like cheese, beef, and egg yolk result in decreased magnesium levels, urinary citrate, and pH (PMID: 22013455). According to the USDA, raw lime juice has a PRAL value of -2.1232. As a result, lime produces an increase in urinary citrate (PMID:22500592).

Sorry, I meant *fluoride. But at any rate, anyone can tell you that fluoride is added to our tap water, but if you don't believe me, you can Google water fluoridation. However, I do agree that we shouldn't drink distilled water, because it is potentially dangerous to our bodies. And I also agree that our bodies need the minerals found in drinking water, but any water containing fluoride is not "drinking water" in my eyes. "I get my oxygen from the Swiss Alps, yo!" xD Can't wait to see that. Lol.

Epic fail. Adding lemon juice to water makes it acidic. You should have tested your lemon water with litmus paper to know it's ph level.

The change in pH happens once you consume the lemon water, which gets metabolized as alkaline, balancing your body's pH levels

This does not work. It doesn not makebwater alkaline. . Citric acid from lemon limes oranges, etc, it only makes the water more acidic.
