I wish I would of stumbled on this video sooner. I trimmed up my Cottonwood trees not to long ago and those cuttings I threw out would of just been perfect for having more cottonwood trees around my yard. Luckily I’m still able too! Thank you for the awesome video!❤
Hi, they did well in So Cal, in the pot. I took them to the ranch in No Arizona and planted them in the ground where they also did well, until the free ranging cattle pulled them up. In the middle of this video, you can see what a great root system they were developing. ruclips.net/video/8hKV26zePH8/видео.htmlsi=khiqxP05V_0WTy6X If I try again in the future, I'll need a better fence. Thank you for watching!
Yes, 3 of them grew. I planted them in AZ and they were happy until come cattle pulled them up. You can see one, in the middle of this video: ruclips.net/video/8hKV26zePH8/видео.html Thank you for watching!
They are beautiful! I love them! They rooted really well and even made it to AZ. I planted them on the ranch and they took, right away but the calves ate them. Hahaha Hope you get a lot growing on your place! ruclips.net/video/J4H1J9c56So/видео.html Here's a funny video you might get a kick out of. Thank you for watching!
@@snowbirdgardener1 I planted a few (the deer ate the ones I couldn't plant). I am getting a lot of rich green leaves growing on them, but not much height yet. We will see what happens. :)
Thank you for the tutorial! Happy Mother’s Day!

Seven is a good number.
I hope cows don't like to eat poplars!
How did your cuttings do? I have a beautiful tree and I want more. It’s hot here in Texas so I’m thinking I should wait until fall to try it.

Did you have success with your propagation?
Any suggestions for evergreens that the deer absolutely won’t eat (so no need to fence)
I'm planting these around my property. I appreciate the video!
