- This week I machine an oil catch can for testing the new 20v 4age billet valve cover. I head up to willow springs raceway to meet up with Taka Aono at Driftschool USA.
Great craftsmanship as always!
I like the catch can!
Dang. That drop in!!!!
I can't wait
awesome!!!!
those imported rubber washer setup looks like the ones from a toyota 22r engine
Aww yeah!
Love the dichromatic PLA blue/green print, parts look 100% cooler that way :D
Crazy 1 day turn-around for a custom one-off catch can!! Looks really nice too!
I still have my coolant reservoir in that location. Have you considered designing one to fit between the strut tower and the wiper motor? or tucked between the pop-ups? Those are the two locations I keep eyeballing
Check out my latest post on our instagram account. I posted a catchcan / rad overflow combo concept.
@@johnrussakoff awesome!! Will give some feedback over there
Hey, how do you find center when using the drill chuck? Ive never seen that before (always had a tailstock).
I put a 3/8 bored bushing in the spindle and adjust the cross slide position until my 3/8 spot drill slides in and out perfectly. Then the cross slide dial has an adjustable marker that I leave at that position so I can go back to it easily.
@@johnrussakoff sweet! Thank you for the education
