  • This week I machine an oil catch can for testing the new 20v 4age billet valve cover. I head up to willow springs raceway to meet up with Taka Aono at Driftschool USA.

    Love the dichromatic PLA blue/green print, parts look 100% cooler that way :D
    Crazy 1 day turn-around for a custom one-off catch can!! Looks really nice too!
    I still have my coolant reservoir in that location. Have you considered designing one to fit between the strut tower and the wiper motor? or tucked between the pop-ups? Those are the two locations I keep eyeballing

    Hey, how do you find center when using the drill chuck? Ive never seen that before (always had a tailstock).

      I put a 3/8 bored bushing in the spindle and adjust the cross slide position until my 3/8 spot drill slides in and out perfectly. Then the cross slide dial has an adjustable marker that I leave at that position so I can go back to it easily.
