guys the original title of the song is obviously Floors, it is a song about diy flooring, the hole in is soul is a metaphor for the hole in is home which is ugly floors, he is talking about digging up his old ugly floors and replacing them one tile at a time.

I think the best thing about this is that Bastille are so incredibly talented musicians and can literally do anything to any song and make it sound beautiful. Dan, Kyle, Woody and Will are all so talented and this video proves that they haven’t changed. All they’ve done is get better!

Bastille, Grouplove, and the black keys, really defined the early 2010's for me. It was definitely a massive transition in alternative rock. a few years prior, Seether killed alt rock with his "Careless Whisper" remake." Can happily say, rock has fully sprung back to life. Changed since the 2010's, but alive and well.
