SO I WAS WONDERING!!!! you pass a basketball, throw a football, and pitch a baseball, but what do you call it when you are out in the yard going back and forth with a lecrosse ball.... fling? sling?

We are having a catch. Or having a throw.
I pass/throw the ball to you. You catch it. If you have a goal in your yard I pass to you and you shoot.
There is all sorts of slang in lacrosse like dish for pass or cage for goal. There are a zillion slang words.
But the above is basically how we talk without slang words about having a catch.
