I have the exact same Hanukkah cookie cutters and I know my grandsons will love designing their own wrapping paper! Thank you for the idea! In my opinion there are not nearly enough Hanukkah ideas or DIY videos so Im grateful for yours!
It is a joy when sharing with friends and neighbors that almost everyone celebrates a Festival of Light at this time of year, be it Chanukah, Christmas or Kwanzaa. These were perfect Chanukah hacks. Thanks so much. Actually useful.
Thank you!! I will! It will be slightly different this year as we will be away for the first few days of Hanukkah but I’ll be recording so if I can just get some good WiFi the vlogs will go up!
You did an outstanding job creating this video covering helpful hacks, tips and tricks for celebrating Hanukkah. I have had latkes before and it is absolutely delicious. I wish you and your family a wonderful and really happy Hanukkah this year!
I enjoyed this video, especially the wrapping paper! One thing you might consider when cleaning your menorah with hot water: Put a plastic dishpan in the sink and remove the wax with hot water over the dishpan, so that melted wax doesn't get down into your drain. I had a friend who ended up with a big plumbing bill after wax got into her drain after cleaning with hot water. When you're done, pour the water from the dishpan outdoors.
I can’t wait to celebrate Hanukkah this year! My daughter will be 17 months old so she’s finally old enough to grasp the concept of Hanukkah this year❤️ happy (almost) holidays everyone!
I would strongly recommend that when you use the hot water to melt the wax that you use a bucket or something to catch the water. That wax will solidify again as it goes down the drain and it could clog your drain over time.
@@MyJewishMommyLife When you have five Hannukkiyot each year and lots of wax, we have enough drippings after the holiday to make at least another box of candles!
Hanukkah!!!!! 😃😃😃🎉🎉🎉 Hooray!!!! Haha, I was busting up over the hashbrown patties, because our synagogue actually forgot to order latkes last year for our Hanukkah party, so they sent someone out to get hashbrowns 🤣🤣🤣 Love the wrapping paper!
Lol aww so glad to hear you like them!! Yes you can defrost the hashbrowns and use them as the base for latkahs that you fry or just in a pinch serve them up lol!!
Trader Joe's does have the best Latkes! I spray a little olive oil on them and pop them in the oven. They taste just as well as when fried, but so much easier.
Dearest Marion, Thank you so much for making such an amazing video ❣The Chanukah tips you shared with us are fabulous 👏You bring us the excitement of getting ready for Chanukah 🕍Lots of love from Israel ♥️Chaya Leya

I love that handprint craft idea! Totally doing that this year! Great video :)
So glad to hear it 😍!!
I love the wrapping paper idea! So doing that with my kids. We put our hanukkiyah in the freezer for a few hours-the wax comes right off!
Omg love that tip! I’ll have to try it out!! And so glad you like the wrapping paper idea 😍
Clever!! Love your hacks. The handprints are super sweet!
Aww thank you so much!

Yes very good point! I didn't think of it because I had such a small amount but you are right!

I was waiting for this video.
Aww thank you 😊
Great tips! Those latkes are my favorite hack too! Love the idea of doing the handprints year after year.
Thank you!! Omg I love the idea of repeating the prints each year and seeing how they grow 🥰

I totally agree! And of course they're so easy!
I was thinking of you. The target Hanukkah decorations looked so cute.
Yesss!!! I love them this year!
great video!!!! I will definitely do the colouring pages for our hanukkah party and use that candle tip!
So glad to hear it! Thank you so much!
Very creative mind that you always have.hugs and 😘

so creative!!
Thank you!!!! Those are great tips which I will use immediately! :-)
Glad it was helpful!
חג שמח❣️🇨🇦
Thank you, you too!
The handprint menorah was adorable!
Also are you doing Vlognukkah this year? I LOVED it last year!
Aww thank you!! I will! I’m looking forward to it!
True, wax should not be flushed in a sink. My method of removing wax is by using a hair dryer and paper towels.
Thank you ❤️
Foil!! Now why didn't I think of that? I always dripped candle wax in each and quickly stuffed it in, not always successfully!
😂 so glad to hear it! It’s funny how when you’ve always done something one way it’s surprising to learn there’s another! I’m the same way!
Thank you may Hashem Bless Aboundantly. Shavua Tov 💌🌹🐻🐼🌻
You are so kind, thank you and you too!!
Love it!!!
Thank you so much 💕
That chanukiah is obviously made to hold little oil cups, not candles. Besides, I don't remember that the miracle was one candle lasting eight days.
Loved it thank you
You’re so welcome!!

Scrub?! Pour boiling water from the kettle.
Some of the tips are good, but others... By the way, giving gifts on Chanukah is not a Jewish tradition.
