Thank you very much for taking the time to look at the V3 and share your opinion it really means a lot. 🙏 Honestly over the moon you like it so much and I hope it services you well for years to come! Chuffed to hear you like it the best overall out of the three designs we have put out as well😁
Very nice looking knife, and I dig the fact that it has a reversible pocket clip. Thanks for the great review, and cheers to Carl for sending this one along so we could have a look at it!
Fair comment Ashley, the blade will close shut and not bounce back open in most cases, however it can take some practice to finding the right balance of force to use when close 🙏😃
@@HOOKNIVES Yes with technique I'm sure you could eventually get it perfect, but it just seems to be way too sensitive and bounces back freely. Other knives don't have this issue and don't require you to rely on your technique to get it right - hopefully something you can fix in the final version 👍 Great review mate, does look like a great knife
@@Jason-dy7bx thank you for your comments and feedback it has been noted and I’ll definitely take a look into it 🙏 I personally don’t have the issue of the knife bouncing back out when closing the blade on the V3 at all, but with that being said I have carried our double detent designs for years and am very use to how they function.
Is it possible to loosen the detent somehow? It is almost impossible to open for me. Pressing on the lever tab with all my might to the point the entire thing is shaking before I can flip it out, and then I'm left with a painful mark on my finger tip. Realistically this is a two handed opening for me at the moment, which is disappointing.
I really want to like this but it is not for me i don't think, the loosening of the pivot is probably the deal breaker combined with (comparable to steel) soft titanium T6 screws. I find the pocket clip (Also on the V1 stonewash which i have) not very accommodating with jeans pockets. A minor issue but i also find the knife to be too heavy for its intended light use. I think the machining here is very good and i love the blade shape. Edit: Solid review by the way, and if i didnt already have the V1 I'd probably be able to justify getting it 👍
I was interested until Made in China. Is this true? If so can anyone recommend a UK legal product that is made in England or Germany etc. Not worried about price.

Great video mate , thanks for sharing !!!
For £150 I'd expect it to not bounce back when closing. Seems to slam back on itself and bounces back open.

It's a technique thing, you learn with practice. It's all part of the experience.
Hi I can’t open mine with the thumb stud will loosening the pivot screw help?

Have you got a discord or any suggestions for a place to trade or sell uk edc knives ?
Best places are the blades matters forums or the uk knifeswap reddit
Too many light on your setup ! Front left hight..that burn the knife aspect.
