Thank you for the guidance. I was able to do as you described. I flashed not usb drive but a basic WD Blue ssd drive, I had to assign letters to some partitions to be visible in Windows. Also I selected the slot most close to the built into Motherboard display port, it was the upper one in my rig, which is based on the old Dell pc with splitters and risers. So far so good. Most importantly to quickly change fan speed, 1 of my 306tis shut down overheating with standard settings.
Maybe set a higher Fan and check your OC settings are not too high for it. I also runs fans on the rig frame to increase cooling

crazy that the NH Miner has electricity in it but the OS doesn't... total no go in this environment. Great video. Your volume is very low on all your videos lately... then the ads are deafening...
totally agree Electric rate is needed. without it there is no real profitability measure
Very cool video. it's a little bit complicated. For now i use windows 10. Miniz1.9.z5b, Bzminer 12.1.1 and lolminer 1.63 are the best for mining now. For kaspa on LoLminer i get 395mh/s at 51 watts in the software. For miniz i mine BTG at 175 sol for 300watts with my 3090!

just trying to get the latest nhos v2 beta 04 working, first USB drive died and 2nd one failed due to low disk space. once I got USB drive done and plugged in I was freaking out it wasn't working as the display stopped after Linux loaded, thanks for the tip to plug into gpu (will try it) because I don't think wifi dongle is working. Also your audio is quiet and then very loud, need to normalize the levels.
I haven't used NHOS recently so I cant give guidance. Maybe try sending a message to Nicehash Support
Hi! Is there a way to force it to only use VGA out? Seems like I can only use that with Octominer X9 (using 6x Rx6800) for some unknown reason. HiveOS is running well as it only use the VGA out.
I'm really not sure - its new so I assume it will get looked at soon
Having all of the same GPUs is good for starting with baseline overclocks, but I have found more often than not that identical GPUs can be pushed to their maximum potential with different overclocks. Sure it isn't simple to do this and is very time consuming to find the sweet spot, but aggressive overclocks ensures having an optimal hashrate.
There is also some benefit to having a large rig consisting of different GPUs. Such as finding a problematic GPU that is causing instability. I have used the older version of NHOS and recall having a more difficult time isolating what is causing my rig to reboot. Even with HiveOS it was difficult honing in on a specific GPU causing issues when they are all the same GPU and you can't identify it by name. Perhaps with this version of NHOS rig stability is more resilient when a single GPU is having issues.
Great Points and I completely agree I like to OC GPUs individually - they all have slightly different tuning for optimal results.
just let it run the overclocking was a boost when everythinbg was profitble but you learned and have experience others don't have and now they want to learn for free
What about core offset?? I only saw lock core clock. Did nicehash team give any details on that??
Its absolute values not offset (in this version)
I wish they could add Chia farming to that nee OS. I run my rig on Windows because I do Chia farming and Gpu mining on the same rig.

You should lock your memory clocks at 810Mhz. Here's how: 1- Shut down your miner. 2-Open a command prompt as admin and run this command to lock the clocks on all your GPUs "nvidia-smi -lmc 810" (exclude the quotes.) 3-Restart your miner and your power usage should drop 50 percent. :)

@@michaelklym7043 After looking at NHOS on my rig it appears that locking your memory clocks in NHOS2 does not seem to be doable because they do not offer a command line option for GPU settings on individual miners. Only limited global OC parameters. This is unfortunate and makes their OS mostly unusable for efficient mining of coins like Kaspa. Although, I am no expect with thier OS and haven't looked at it lately so they may have seen their error here and have since fixed it.
what driver version are you using on the 3070
Nicehash OS v2 came with NVidia Driver 515.76 (see video clip @ ruclips.net/video/gz8PxHC6tJ4/видео.html). Nicehash said it was stable for them.

Any way to avoid the auto benchmark of all the algorithm? Cause that makes my RIG crash, immediately I plug the USB …
I dont know any way around it since you cant manually set it - I suggest contact Nicehash

Hello! I have only one problem. When i boot the USB with the nicehash OS, the program autostart, and benchmark all the algorism at the same time. That makes my RIG voltage up till it crash and turn off. Is there any config to stop the autostart, so i can select the algorism and the OC first? Thaks a lot !!

Not sure if Wife Dongle with work with this - Send message to Nicehash. For my rigs I use Wifi Extenders that plug into Wall AC Power and it acts as a Wifi Repeater and gives a RJ45 plug that I can plug into my rigs

I see black screen with cursor if I'm using the integrated graphics chip on my Rig, I have to plug into an actual GPU - should be the port closest to the main PCIE display riser
@@CryptoMiningInsider i get the cursor when i plug into the gpu directly. Just a cursor that moves around and a black screen. I am using a 12 gpu mining motherboard, no risers.

Just buy a BTC miner… GPU mining is for spec mining these days.
Wish it was profitable. Unless you have super cheap electric and latest BTC miner its not profitable - see asicminervalue.com
The profitability calculator in NiceHash does not take into account the cost of electricity, so it is absolutely meaningless. At the same time, different algorithms have different electricity costs. Therefore, only the algorithm that gives more net profit can be profitable. And this is not taken into account, useless OS.
I agree and told Nicehash the same thing - profitability is meaningless without being able to calculate electricity consumption + cost
