Damn.... That's pretty impressive. It works because that poison vanish damage is so strong. With that radius, most guys melt away and you actually only need maybe two assassinations. I think I'd try mod that gives you three chain vanishes. I bet you could solo gold with this build... I'd probably never main this but I might build one out for fun or where it works well with a weekly mod.
@@venator2589 it's totally possible to solo gold. Almost did it with a Ronin build when it was 25 waves. Got to Wave 22 and probably could have finished it if Id stuck at it. If people can solo 25 waves of Nightmare, 15 on gold should be manageable...

Hysteria is pretty awesome if you're defending an area by yourself, gives you some helpers and decoys to whittle down enemies and distract them while you go around assassinating.
I rolled poison blade for the second perk on my assassins katana when I got it to 120 and did a build very similar to this because of the poison perk. I have to say it was a ton of fun to change to this play style . Great work on the build!
Poison blade with Deadly Nightshade is actually pretty damn insane! haha It does the same damage as your toxic vanish and your poison darts. I agree, this build can definitely be a lot fun! Thanks fam, much love 🙏
Super Strike is nice when running a poison build with Blowgun and double Chain Vanish. You can one shot a bunch of enemies like Tengu. I don't always run it, but sometimes it's a good way to go. The only healing I have on my Poison Assassin is Combat Regeneration on the Assassin Charm, it's a bit sketchy, but doable if you're careful.
Thanks to your video, i've based my assassin build on yours and i'm wiping enemies out like nothing. Most times i can keep up with really good hunter players, but with this build, i get more kills than they do.....unless it's those hunters that spam the hell out of liquid courage and their ults.

Is there a place where we can submit feedback for suckerpunch. I noticed that b4 the recent update, smoke bomb and magma bomb smoke lasted a lot longer than usual. After the update, the smoke bomb dissapears faster than usual. I don't like this.
Oh yeah totally agree, too bad they're not adding Poison Master to the game. Yeah very complicated build if you want focussing on Poison for example that Ability Cooldown which make me very confused. And I know how annoyingly slow the assassination does, but more MORE annoying is you critical strike an oni you as player doing assassination animation, but sometimes the oni just move regularly which a danger point to us as an Assassin. Really nice and unique might try use it in the future, thanks for the video 👍
Poison Master would be fucking awesssommmeee!!! Definitely annoying for slower assassinations. I found that this build is the most fun during Rivals! If you ever try it, let me know how it goes!

Nice charm, the radius increase is so nice that it almost makes me want to try this, but yeah I just don't think the slow assassination is worth it especially in rivals where the name of the game is to kill guys FAST. Glad u got this one out there even tho it wasn't ur go to. Also RIP away of the flame why tf would they not have fire damage effect that!? I saw u say that in a comment somewhere but I turned a blind eye bc I didn't want to believe it🥲
Haha broooo!! DEFINITELY took one for the team with this one! LMFAO. This was the BEST version of this difficult build I could find! haha But I agree, slow assassinations is fucking PAIN!!! If we could assassinate quickly with this build, this build would DEFINITELY be my go to.. that is the ONLY thing holding it back. And yea fam, Way of the Flame got fucking NERFEDDD. Big sad. I even tested it. I had my charm with fire master, then went into NMS solo, proced my Way of the Flame, and used one heavy strike on the big Oni Brute... then, went back in and did the same thing, except with the charm that DOES have Fire Master, and it did the SAME EXACT DAMGE... fucking stupid!
I rotate bomb packs and blow guns with this type of build. If I'm using a blow gun in Nightmare, I'll pop a few darts out after I use the vanish. This ensures the enemies are staggered when I start an assassination.
You could always make multiple builds, I have 4 separate builds for my Assassin. Hell, I have 5 builds for my Samurai, 4 for Ronin, and workin on a 4th for Hunter. I basically made a Water Master, Moon Master, Stone Master, and Wind Master Katana for each class, Multiple Charms for each class, and I made every Ghost Weapon for each class, multiples of some Ghost Weapons with different stats rolled on them for different playstyles, that way I just switch up Techniques and Gear depending on how I want to play. It took a ton of grinding to get to that point, but now it's super easy to play however I want, whenever I want.

All four playstyles are fun in their own way, and if a certain week's nightmare modifiers suck, I just switch my build up for one that works well that week.
Thats a strong build bro!i prefer spirit kunai with hiden blades .it gets your ability back in that same enemie spawn and yes it is not for everyone but hysteria keeps them all on spot.particularly them oni archer. Assassin is very underrated,wich i think this update is trying to change up a bit.

I was playing nightmare survival with this guy who was constantly spamming his smoke and kuni, along with poison vanish and he was constantly assassinating oni. They’d take lots of poison damage and he’d stab em fast then next. Only ones that survived were the huge purple spear guys. 2 stabs for them and he was done. I never saw him use the blowgun. I want that build.
I'd love a powerful ultimate build for assassins. I think not having quick assassinations is big downfall. Are you looking into ultimate builds for assassin? Would love to see it
Well done my friend I love the assassin builds also hysteria is good ONLY if u trying to solo nightmare survival Orr nightmare missions . It can be good for when your far away from a point but for other players who r there it can be a pain . Gotta be smart and precise for hallucinations builds
I am running a toxic fire melee build with 5 hits of my ultimate and my katana is masmuni Edge.? I am using 40% ultimate damage. I am using legendary blow pipe and it got both status effect duration and status effects damage. Melee charm with melee damage and ultimate perks 1 and 2 will be fire master and relslove increase., Kuni and with fire up and 5 kuni perk. It got melee damage and status effects duration. Smoke bomb with lucky and munitions. Perks 1 and 2 are cool down on kill and cool down reduction so I am getting plenty of ammo for my poison blow pipe. Which has helmet and shield piercing ammo.my katana ofc has poison blade and water stance.
If I am being honest, I prefer my Forbidden Inferno build much more SIMPLY because the Assassinations are quicker. If this build was able to have Experienced Assassin (quicker assassinations) it would be the best build in the game.
@Tai Smith The main things you need are a sword with ultimate damage (20% is ideal), an assassin charm with chain vanish, 25% stealth damage and another 20% ultimate damage, and the liquid courage gourd w double cooldown stats. Techniques are simple: 5 strikes for ultimate, faster assassinations, the new heal vanish for sustain, and then you can decide on the extra 30% assassination damage or you can do what I do and run a second legendary slot with the new option on the first row. I opt for the new Magna bomb since you don’t have a smoke anymore or you can go with a spirit kunai and finish low health enemies w it for way more vanishes and gourd usage
way of the flame during assassin ulti is sort of a waste yes, the enemy is briefly visually lit up by the fire but they do not CATCH on fire for the normal duration you would get, had you struck them with WotF during regular melee hits. it still does "more" than not using wotf during ulti, but imo sometimes its a waste of wotf duration it is useful to wotf during ulti if you "need a little more dmg" to either finish them off or get them low enough for an assassinate finisher or to proc Spirit Kunai. Wotf IS impacted by "effect duration", it changes the amount of time the enemy is lit on fire (but the amount of time you get is TINY), it does not change the duration of wotf on your katana however. The major perk Increased Radius on Magma Bomb, only affects itself. however, rolling Blast Radius 25% on both Bomb Pack and on Sticky Bomb do affect each other for a total of 50%! So for your build since you're running fire dmg, you may want a bigger explosion for Magma Bomb as well as Forbidden Medicine and Black Powder Bombs.
Interesting build. Unfortunately I can't copy because I have never gotten Forbidden Medicine. It's literally the one legendary (that I know of) that never dropped.
I used fired up on my magma bomb, its really strong with the status effect damage and fire master. You have the extra fire bomb when you use it. Give it a try :) Really works for me
Poison hysteria works best if you're only assassinating from your vanish so not everyone starts swinging psycho only the ones that outlast the stagger damage.
I'm trying out this build and I'm using forbidden medicine but I cant use black powder bombs Becuase it says that I am not a Ronin. Any know how I can get past this. Thanks
@@Bazebeast316 That's what I'm saying, you open up gear mastery challenges by binding the weapon to Assassin class. It won't let me bind it, says that weapon can only be bind to a Ronin
Hey brother! Then you can use it on your Assassin and also do the Gear Mastery Challenges! Same with the Samurai.
If you’re not running smoke bomb your magma bomb only last up to 7 seconds of smoke. With the smoke bomb it can last up to 20 seconds. Oddly weird but it’s true. You should test that out if you haven’t. If I ever go back to smoke bomb for my assassin I’ll definitely run magma with it. Awesome breakdown btw
@@EhpicPlays lol yea it’s funny because me and a friend was playing and I was running magma bomb with liquid of courage and she was running magma with smoke bomb and we both tossed the magma bomb at the same time, she was still assassinating in her smoke while mine was already gone. We did a test run and yea it’s true.
Well, now I gotta do a 180 cuz this looks more fun than the one before. I feel like I could run a build just like my ronin but with assassin. The damage from the poison vanish is so similar to ronin's new fire ability. Spirit kunai with triple vanish might be really good for spamming ability.

Any tips on getting my gear to 120 quicker, I need the cursed items to skip some challenges but struggling to get what I need, those deconstruct legendary katanas are a killer 🤣🤣
The dismantling is fucking terrible!!! Nightmare Survival gave me the most Cursed Items. But going into Gold Survival and finished most of the challenges is how I do it. It’s a grind no matter how you look at it, unfortunately 😭
Don’t forget to purify all of your cursed items first so you don’t have any in your inventory. Next Gold or Nightmare guarantees a cursed item. Had it fail only twice in over 200 goes.
Dude, I was basically away since the new Legends dropped, only just got my Assassin lvld up. Even then I still haven't been able to get my Ghost Weapon 1 to 120 because I haven't had any cursed items drop for that slot. The grind is real...
Finally ready to give it a try! Love this hybrid build bro but I’m going full poison (status damage) Started today my toxic build but, regardless the bomb pack being op I’m using blowgun cause that poison darts shred through every enemy guard and health☠️ and can’t skip on my spirit kunai, trusting it too much for the cool-downs on the vanish! But gotta love the idea of a hybrid getting WOF and black powder bombs💪🔥☠️ Still waiting on that hunter build brother 🤘🔥

Man I like assassin but I haven't even bothered making a build for him, just made 120 builds for hunter, Ronin and Sam. They need to switch him up because doing all of this stuff to clear a spawn then you see a Sam activating fire and clicking triangle to clear a spawn...
So not only does poison blade trigger during the ultimate, but so does burning blade! Haha that’s so bad ass! Even during the kick?! Haha sheeessshhhhh
@@EhpicPlays was messing around in survival and me and my buddies started kicking the bears in AOI Village last wave and I accidentally killed one because I kicked him and lit him on fire. Also Chapter 3 spamming the wind kick and I lit IYO on fire too lol
Trying to make this build has been a nightmare for me (no pun intended) I could get everything right except the charm I kept reforging and reforging the assassin's charm and I just could not get the perks that I needed if I got one perk then I rerolled the other then I couldn't get the third it was very frustrating I got so flustered that I ended up accidentally deleting one of my assassins charms I almost threw my TV out into the yard the closest I could get is I got the stealth attack damage the toxic vanish radius but I couldn't get chain vanished so I'm going to use it out of my techniques and then get firemaster on the charm I do have combat regeneration on the charm though so that'll help as far as health...(update: I was able to get the perks needed I got the charm to 120 and will now attempt to get firemaster though the stealth attack damage is not as high as I wanted it to be but I'll take it I did get a good role on toxic vanish radius 92%)
Yo, why not just have another ability cooldown for ur assassin charm instead of stealth dmg. Your poison upon vanishing should already be enough to cause ur opponent’s hp at least 1/3, if not half- thus making it easier to assassinate em.

So water katana, melee ult. Master poison. Bomb pack stat dmg blast radius. Assassin charm Stat dmg ult dmg, chain V, Hysteria. M bomb cd on kill blast radius fire lucky. Resolve gourd cd red cd red on kill. Techs= heal or toxic. Legendary row 2, poison row 3. 5 strikes row 4 gg
I wish I could agree that this is viable. Unfortunately it is not compared to any other class or the straight fast assassination specific build. Toxic vanish still does not do enough damage and does not last long enough even with all modifiers. I just don’t understand why they did not make the toxic damage option crazy strong - missed opportunity by SP. Thanks for the vid anyways and all the effort you put into it
They simply should not have given Samurais bombs. This was unique to Assassin and Ronin. Now everyone uses it alongside that Liquid Courage... insane easy button.
Trust me, I already know this will NEVER be a competitive build. haha There's no keeping up with Samurai, Hunter, or even Ronin. BUT! I did find that this is a viable build in the sense that it is actually playable. lol everything else I was trying just didn't feel right. Poison being on the same tech level as Experienced Assassin was a massive mistake. F in the chat... I made this for those who were asking for a poison build
Assassin skills Tree is so painful on the second row (Perk 2) 3 of them should be innate skills for Assassins Class. Faster Assassination, Silent Moving and Poison Damage these 3 can be innate for assassin and the class still far away from Samurai and Hunter power level.

I hate giving up quick kill. My build like this has one legendary and is more focused on ult and poison and fire.

This is really in-depth and I like it. I'm a healer assassin and I'm really comfortable with my build but I'd most likely give this a shot too

The slow assassin hurts so it better to go full melee and ultimate damage using the blow pipe to wear down enemies health

I am running a toxic fire melee build with 5 hits of my ultimate and my katana is masmuni Edge.? I am using 40% ultimate damage. I am using legendary blow pipe and it got both status effect duration and status effects damage. Melee charm with melee damage and ultimate perks 1 and 2 will be fire master and relslove increase., Kuni and with fire up and 5 kuni perk. It got melee damage and status effects duration. Smoke bomb with lucky and munitions. Perks 1 and 2 are cool down on kill and cool down reduction so I am getting plenty of ammo for my poison blow pipe. Which has helmet and shield piercing ammo.my katana ofc has poison blade and water stance.

If I am being honest, I prefer my Forbidden Inferno build much more SIMPLY because the Assassinations are quicker. If this build was able to have Experienced Assassin (quicker assassinations) it would be the best build in the game.

I made a liquid courage ulti build for my assassin and holy cow is it good! You def gotta try it out
@Tai Smith The main things you need are a sword with ultimate damage (20% is ideal), an assassin charm with chain vanish, 25% stealth damage and another 20% ultimate damage, and the liquid courage gourd w double cooldown stats. Techniques are simple: 5 strikes for ultimate, faster assassinations, the new heal vanish for sustain, and then you can decide on the extra 30% assassination damage or you can do what I do and run a second legendary slot with the new option on the first row. I opt for the new Magna bomb since you don’t have a smoke anymore or you can go with a spirit kunai and finish low health enemies w it for way more vanishes and gourd usage

yes, the enemy is briefly visually lit up by the fire but they do not CATCH on fire for the normal duration you would get, had you struck them with WotF during regular melee hits.
it still does "more" than not using wotf during ulti, but imo sometimes its a waste of wotf duration
it is useful to wotf during ulti if you "need a little more dmg" to either finish them off or get them low enough for an assassinate finisher or to proc Spirit Kunai.
Wotf IS impacted by "effect duration", it changes the amount of time the enemy is lit on fire (but the amount of time you get is TINY), it does not change the duration of wotf on your katana however.
The major perk Increased Radius on Magma Bomb, only affects itself.
however, rolling Blast Radius 25% on both Bomb Pack and on Sticky Bomb do affect each other for a total of 50%!
So for your build since you're running fire dmg, you may want a bigger explosion for Magma Bomb as well as Forbidden Medicine and Black Powder Bombs.

Interesting build. Unfortunately I can't copy because I have never gotten Forbidden Medicine. It's literally the one legendary (that I know of) that never dropped.

I used fired up on my magma bomb, its really strong with the status effect damage and fire master. You have the extra fire bomb when you use it. Give it a try :)

Poison hysteria works best if you're only assassinating from your vanish so not everyone starts swinging psycho only the ones that outlast the stagger damage.

I'm trying out this build and I'm using forbidden medicine but I cant use black powder bombs Becuase it says that I am not a Ronin. Any know how I can get past this. Thanks
Yeah I can't bind forbidden medicine to the assassin, it says it's Ronin only. I wanna know how op did that??
You have to activate the gear mastery challenges and level it to 120 once you do you can pick your 2nd perk.

Jist of it is, you have to bind it to your Ronin with Assassin Unlock already on it! Then you can use it on your Assassin and also do the Gear Mastery Challenges! Same with the Samurai.

How do u earn magma BOMB through which character?
If you’re not running smoke bomb your magma bomb only last up to 7 seconds of smoke. With the smoke bomb it can last up to 20 seconds. Oddly weird but it’s true. You should test that out if you haven’t. If I ever go back to smoke bomb for my assassin I’ll definitely run magma with it. Awesome breakdown btw

@@EhpicPlays lol yea it’s funny because me and a friend was playing and I was running magma bomb with liquid of courage and she was running magma with smoke bomb and we both tossed the magma bomb at the same time, she was still assassinating in her smoke while mine was already gone. We did a test run and yea it’s true.

I feel like I could run a build just like my ronin but with assassin. The damage from the poison vanish is so similar to ronin's new fire ability. Spirit kunai with triple vanish might be really good for spamming ability.
Can't roll radius on spirit kunai, radius also effects your bombs and vanish

Any tips on getting my gear to 120 quicker, I need the cursed items to skip some challenges but struggling to get what I need, those deconstruct legendary katanas are a killer 🤣🤣
The dismantling is fucking terrible!!! Nightmare Survival gave me the most Cursed Items. But going into Gold Survival and finished most of the challenges is how I do it. It’s a grind no matter how you look at it, unfortunately 😭
Don’t forget to purify all of your cursed items first so you don’t have any in your inventory. Next Gold or Nightmare guarantees a cursed item. Had it fail only twice in over 200 goes.
Do you prefer Forbidden Inferno or Toxic Inferno? This looks cool, but the longer assassinations seem excruciating.

Dude, I was basically away since the new Legends dropped, only just got my Assassin lvld up. Even then I still haven't been able to get my Ghost Weapon 1 to 120 because I haven't had any cursed items drop for that slot. The grind is real...
Finally ready to give it a try! Love this hybrid build bro but I’m going full poison (status damage) Started today my toxic build but, regardless the bomb pack being op I’m using blowgun cause that poison darts shred through every enemy guard and health☠️ and can’t skip on my spirit kunai, trusting it too much for the cool-downs on the vanish! But gotta love the idea of a hybrid getting WOF and black powder bombs💪🔥☠️

Man I like assassin but I haven't even bothered making a build for him, just made 120 builds for hunter, Ronin and Sam. They need to switch him up because doing all of this stuff to clear a spawn then you see a Sam activating fire and clicking triangle to clear a spawn...

Trying to make this build has been a nightmare for me (no pun intended) I could get everything right except the charm I kept reforging and reforging the assassin's charm and I just could not get the perks that I needed if I got one perk then I rerolled the other then I couldn't get the third it was very frustrating I got so flustered that I ended up accidentally deleting one of my assassins charms I almost threw my TV out into the yard the closest I could get is I got the stealth attack damage the toxic vanish radius but I couldn't get chain vanished so I'm going to use it out of my techniques and then get firemaster on the charm I do have combat regeneration on the charm though so that'll help as far as health...(update: I was able to get the perks needed I got the charm to 120 and will now attempt to get firemaster though the stealth attack damage is not as high as I wanted it to be but I'll take it I did get a good role on toxic vanish radius 92%)

Yo, why not just have another ability cooldown for ur assassin charm instead of stealth dmg. Your poison upon vanishing should already be enough to cause ur opponent’s hp at least 1/3, if not half- thus making it easier to assassinate em.
WHILE I LIKE THE MAGMA BOMB I USE IT FOR MY ASSASSIN HEAVY BUILD ITS GREAT BUT WHY NOT JUST USE FIRED UP/ INCREASED RADIUS SURE U LOSE THE EXRA DEFENSIVE PROC OF HAVING NAOTHER SMOKE BUT....THE DAMAGEEEEEE
So water katana, melee ult. Master poison. Bomb pack stat dmg blast radius. Assassin charm Stat dmg ult dmg, chain V, Hysteria. M bomb cd on kill blast radius fire lucky. Resolve gourd cd red cd red on kill. Techs= heal or toxic. Legendary row 2, poison row 3. 5 strikes row 4 gg
I wish I could agree that this is viable. Unfortunately it is not compared to any other class or the straight fast assassination specific build. Toxic vanish still does not do enough damage and does not last long enough even with all modifiers. I just don’t understand why they did not make the toxic damage option crazy strong - missed opportunity by SP.

They simply should not have given Samurais bombs. This was unique to Assassin and Ronin. Now everyone uses it alongside that Liquid Courage... insane easy button.
Trust me, I already know this will NEVER be a competitive build. haha There's no keeping up with Samurai, Hunter, or even Ronin. BUT! I did find that this is a viable build in the sense that it is actually playable. lol everything else I was trying just didn't feel right. Poison being on the same tech level as Experienced Assassin was a massive mistake. F in the chat...

Assassin skills Tree is so painful on the second row (Perk 2) 3 of them should be innate skills for Assassins Class. Faster Assassination, Silent Moving and Poison Damage these 3 can be innate for assassin and the class still far away from Samurai and Hunter power level.
