    I wanted to make something spectacular for my daughter and grandson flying in from Los Angeles for Christmas, as the years are now closer to leaving this planet. I'm recovering from a knee replacement, but I want to make memories of producing something like this. Tiramisu is one of her loves in her life.

      J'y pense : il y aurait un lien avec le "suivez-moi jeune homme" ? Le ruban de la la fin ? En tout cas je me suis bien amusée avec le gâteau au chocolat que j'ai prudemment fait à 8 étages... Merci pour ce beau tiramisu

    Fantastic!!! In italy we do the Tiramisu cream slightly different, but i'm gonna steal the recipe of the savoiardi! they look fantastic!!!!

    I have some friends that own a Local Italian Restaurant. They make a lot from scratch in the restaurant, but the Deserts. The Cheese Cake and Tiramisu are both frozen. They are good. I guess. I personally don't eat them.
    I have a home bakery but my normal cakes with American Buttercream Frosting, is not what her family likes.
    Definitely going to give this a try for our Christmas Party this year!

    Yes Bruno, the best tiramisu is at il fernio, Il Fernio on Rodeo Drive. It is made using the old tradition of making cakes. But now Porto’s also makes it almost the same as I’ll fernio(it should be the oven. I’m not so sure if I am misspelling). They published a book, and I got the book how to make that marvel of flavor!!

    Pressed for time I used your coffee liqueur and mascarpone recipes.

      Bonjour Maimouna, vous pouvez activer les sous-titres avec le petit bouton CC sur la vidéo puis en maintenant appuyé sur CC il vous proposera la traduction automatique des sous-titres en français. Ce n'est pas parfait mais vous comprendrez l'essentiel. Autre solution, sous le lien de la vidéo dans la description il y a un lien vers son site où on peut trouver la recette et les instructions. C'est en anglais mais si vous utilisez chrome (ou alors en installant un module de traduction dans votre navigateur) vous pouvez traduire la page en français.

    I'd like to make this cake for my niece's birthday which is in 3 days. Is it OK to leave out the gelatin (cause we can't have that)? And would half of the chocolate crust recipe be enough for this recipe? Thank you.

      @@princesse523 You're welcome. Good luck with it. I must add I didn't use heavy cream because I think it covers the flavor. I make a sabayon with only eggs and sugar. Then beat them with an electric mixer for 15 minutes to fluff up, and incorporate with mascarpone.

    No zabaglione, no tiramisu... very nice charlotte recipe, but, nothing close to a tiramisu :) i don't understand why people keep wanting to put tiramisu name on things that are nowhere near a tiramisu :( just be original, call it anything else, just not tiramisu, keep the traditions :)

    Why do you use cream? I know it is not the original recipe but I just feel like the cream is for amateur chefs. You are much better than them.

      Well, true mascarpone is a triple-creme cheese made from fresh cream that contains 70% fat. It therefore cannot be used alone in cake making. It has never been the case and it wont be so. 🌝
