I have 2 questions for that guy in the suit at 12:07 - 1.) Why would you draw a BB gun walking up to a counter? 2.) Why would you conceal carry holster a BB gun like its a real firearm?
To feel like a cowboy
How else is he supposed to take it out if he is gonna sell it? Why does it matter to you? It's legal..
@@SooSmokie the guy in the video is you isnt it? 😅
@@liambennion9627 dang it, you figured it out! 🤣
Atleast I looked like a thug right?
@@SooSmokienot pulling off your hip
This guy is solid. At the end of the day he's running a business, he needs to make a profit in order to exist but the fact that he helps out people he feels are honest shows he has great character.
The way he helped that woman out with the watch was admirable. She really looked like she was hurting.
The way that guy un-holstered his gun and slapped it on the counter for sale disturbed me. Nobody can tell a fake gun from a real one. Don't play with fake guns.
THIS
Why would that tool be holstering the damn thing like he's some wannabe gangster.
@jeffblackwell5493 because he legally can. Maybe he didn't have a case, better then carrying it in his hand. You're obviously young and know nothing about guns.
@@SooSmokie Just because you CAN doesn't mean you should.
Coming from a multi-gun owner but thanks for the love Sooo Smokey👍 oh how I wish I was young.
Anyway, Merry Christmas!
@jeffblackwell5493 Agreed! Have a happy Holidays!
The guy in the suit it looked like he was going to stick up the place lol Pete was like lemme get that off you 🤣
Also, he was not showing his gun in a nonthreatening way. I would never point it a someone while removing the clip. It could still have a bullet in the chamber.
@@gsesquire3441 while walking around with a fake gun looking super cool 🙄 I know a dude like that they think they’re magnum PI 😂
"How do you load it?" (Pete) It's fake. "I know but where you put the bullets?" That guy was a gem.
@@HenryPerez_royal_hp knew a kid like that in high school. Told me he had a “license to kill” shit makes me still laugh to this day
The people of Illinois do not deserve this Gem of a human. Pete is just a damn good guy. It's hard to run a business and have a heart at the same time.
But it’s not impossible! You can be a decent human, pay your employees well, not overtly exploit people and still be successful.
IL is full of judgmental hypocrites.
Looks like he's a good guy. I'm new here. Great to see a poster putting the "n" at the end of "damn".
Why do the people of Illinois not deserve him? 🤔
I’m not from there, just seems like an odd thing to say.
It hurts my heart when i see older people struggling for money.
Man that guy walked up like that. he is calling for trouble. Pulling out a gun and not saying anything.
Thought the same... Should have verbally said he has a gun and he wants pete to take a look at it. I woulda been panicked for a second if I was pete.
@@D1Junk seems like he knows that dork.
@@dustyc324 What a prick! U can’t polish a turd, however u can dress one in Primarni and yet this guy is still a turd!
12:04 There's something seriously wrong with a Grown Man walking around with a Airsoft pistol in a holster!
There was something weird about that guy.
Really?!!!!!
yeah, the way he walks up and pulls it out like he's about to rob the place. dude is factor 6 nutball
Those are the dumbasses that get shot by cops because they want to "play" with toy guns. Smh
@@jfromberg19 facts
@@ccgb92 You're either a squirrel in a human body or trolling because there is no way a real person is intimidated by a guy holding a bb gun he's trying to sell, when Peter himself didn't show any sign of being worried about it, your life must suck being so scary.
The fly rod guy comes in pretending to know nothing and when you give him an offer he instantly becomes an expert.
That's how most people are, because they are not assertive.
If you are selling something and not at prepared to give a number (there are times when not saying a number first works out in ur favor obviously) you will usually get taken for a ride assuming ur not willing to counter.
Brilliant point lol😂
I know nothing, what’s your offer? Just the tube is 400 and the specs and the…😅
@@Pentecostal_Reseller how much more?
Completely normal behavior.
Edit:
I just watched again and he doesn’t come off or claim to be an expert. He literally said he looked it up.
This guy literally comes in with an IWB holster carrying a fake Glock and just goes up to the counter and whips it out? Dude is lucky he didn’t get shot.
Thank you for helping her out. (My grandpa had a pawn shop in Times Square.)
That was a long Times ago
Youre a very kind and patient person! Love the videos!
Thanks for watching. Cheers !!
12:07 - Something tells me that guy carries that everywhere he goes.
Everyone should 👍
@@chubbrock659a BB gun? 😂😂😂
@@chexcollects There's a lot of scary squirrels out there!
came across the videos around 3 weeks ago and I can not stop watching.
Same here! Something about these videos very interesting and relaxing!
That radio jacket was cool, the little back story added a nice amount of depth!
Since you asked in New Zealand we have Radio Hauraki which was our first private Radio station (1966) that was run illegally on a boat I believe the history goes. The station is still running to this day but now I'm pretty sure she's been brought out by big business
Idk if you knew that he had the air soft pistol on his waist. But if you didn’t, that guy was absolutely out of his mind.
#1 Thing to NEVER ever do!! Draw/Unholster a Gun inside a store. I don't care if it's real air-soft or a capgun. You just Don't do that. Made me cringe when he did that.
The way that dude walked up and pulled out the gun at 12:04 made me think like Pete was about to get robbed...sheesh.
The owner of the Loop Merlin Media sold the station to a Christian Radio broadcasting company out of California. It wasn’t about competing with streaming it was about a $21.5 million payout.
i thought yall were about to get robbed for a second there when that gun came out lol
I felt bad for that woman with the watch. She ain't coming back though. I know it.
Lol @12:10 I thought one of the twin brothers from Better call Sal and Breaking bad was walking in especially when he pulled out the hand gun lol. Was he wearing his cool boots? Lol
The guy with the gun needs to stop spending money on clothes if he needs 20 bucks that badly. 🙄 love the videos Pete. I'm new here and watched already 8 videos back to back
My Dad and I went to northern Saskatchewan fishing in the summer of 1984 and 85. The Northern lights were directly above us every night for about 5 nights. Very beautiful. Great fishing too lol.
That’s why I’d never move from northern Sask :) too beautiful haha
I remember when the Loop went on the air. That's when my Mom switched from WLS. Good times. Thanks, Pete!
Very kind of you to go out of your way and help that woman with the ten extra dollars. You probably get so many stories similar to her’s on a daily basis. For what it’s worth, she seemed extremely genuine, so I’m glad you extended her some help. Cheers to you, Pete!
He’s just lowering his profit margin a hair. He wouldn’t help someone if he didn’t think he would still make some coin
@@chubbrock659 I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not.
@@moeday99 some ppl are really that dumb lol
@@moeday99 its true
You cannot judge a RUclipsr businessman from a video they edited and published themselves, one out of hundreds of transactions per week. If I ran a business like this I would gladly spend 40 bucks making myself look good in a manicured, potentially specifically created transaction. Pete may be the best guy on the planet (and he probably is, I like Pete) but that can’t be derived from a video he produces and puts up on RUclips.
The famous radio station in Atlanta, Ga. was 96ROCK, It had a very long run. 1974-2006
Good dude. Helping people necessary. Support this RUclips channel and business.
93.3 WMMR and 94.1 WYSP in Philadelphia and also PYX 106.5 in Albany NY. Love your channel and how you care for your pets Pete.
Love the more frequent videos, thanks Pete! My stations were KFRC in San Francisco, KROQ Al
Los Angeles and the Loop in Chicagoland
Man when I saw that guy pull that gun out of his pants I would have lost it.
Me to :) Thanks for watching. Cheers !!
Yeah That's definitely NOT how a Normal Adult goes about selling a Airsoft gun.
Just pulling it out the way he did without saying anything first, He could easily get shot doing that to the wrong person!
@@gsesquire3441 Idc... That guy should have still said something, there are other people in the store who probably dont know whats going on. Just poor etiquette.
@@gsesquire3441 Nah fight or flight man, alot of people will freeze and it looks like to be pete froze for a second.
@@gsesquire3441 So why in the hell did he have it hidden under his jacket in the waist of his pants and then pulled it out like that if he intended on selling it? Does he always walk around like that wtf.
Glad I found you channel! I really enjoy watching, I work right by and drive by everyday I should stop in one day
Love what you do for your community!
Pete is a legend and Ryan is his trusty right hand man.
The radio stations are all going belly up cause they all play the same 7 songs on repeat all day every day. Even XM radio has been replaying the same shows every week
9:00 You’re a good man Pete.. 🙌🏼💯
Grew up in Chicago, I remember the Loop (left Chicago 15 years ago now, time flies) I also remember "This is 93 WXRT radio Chicago", love your video Peter.
The frequency of The Loop didn't actually change. In the days of the analog radio dial, stations would just round the frequency to the nearest whole number because it was easier to say and analog radios were not precise. When radios became digital they started saying the real frequency.
I believe the call letters of the Loop were WLUP.
Just found the channel. Peter you are such a nice guy. Man I wish I lived close so I could visit your awesome shop! Much love from Las Vegas!
When purchasing cell phones, always ask for oringinal proof of purchase or gift recepit (if given as a gift), to avoid scams.
Steven is the best employee!!! He helped me find a VHS player that was the best fit for me. I looked all over the store for a VHS, I saw Steve and asked him for help and he came right over in lightning speed.
I let know what I needed and he went right to where the VHS players are.
Steven, instead of showing me and walking away, helped me choose the right one I needed!!!❤❤❤
He is truly an asset to The Trading Post.
He also brightened my day with some great laughs 😂😂😂
Is he still alive? Haven't seen him in a while
Thats crazy you can sell it in a week. Minnesota makes us hold all purchases for 30-60 days before we can sell items we buy
Yeah, this isn’t a pawn shop, so it’s different. “Trading post”
98 Rock in Baltimore was the big station in my hometown!!!
As an adolescent and teenager I loved 99.1 WHFS (Rock), they had an awesome Industrial/Electronic show on Fridays and Saturdays only from around ‘93-‘00. It shaped so much of music tastes.
There was also DC 101 (Rock) that was a Washington DC station. It would not come in completely clear sometimes, but usually would if you had a decent antenna.
For Hip Hop, Baltimore had 92Q. It always had promotions all over the city.
Mix 106.5 would run just about everything.
You are a good person. Thanks again for your time sir. Bob from Michigan.
I grew up with the Loop during the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s
Peter, you are the man Sir! ❤
97.1 The Point is our local classic radio station here in Vegas. Still going strong ,love the videos Pete. I really would love to see the cb radio equipment you have in stock !! We had that wood block roller when I was a kid back in the 70's !!
Pete, We really enjoy your show. You will be rewarded for your kindness. Keep up the good work and we will keep watching! We miss not seeing .Vicky, hope she's ok she seems to be kind like youself. God Bless

DC-101 used to be the station for me in the DC metro area...once home to morning shock jocks Howard stern and the Greaseman.
WAAF was the last premiere rock station in the Worcester/Boston area. WBRU was our local alternative in RI. Both sad to see them go.

Something seemed sketchy about the guy with the white blazer who sold you that gun. Also, why did you buy it if he didn't have his ID on hand. Anyone can forge a fake ID on a phone picture. But not my business 🤭

Every pawn shop heard that nonsense all the time. I'm coming back tomorrow, I swear. I save a you tube show about a guy pawned his bag of uncut emeralds beautiful color. They were worth over 50 grand to meet payroll for the week. 90 days later he lost them to the shop. He called guy 20 times to let him know time is almost up. One day my butt. Sad to see. Neal
