As a psychologist it’s so helpful to people to hear psychotherapy framed as a tool for those conscious enough and brave enough to tackle their issues; those who own their issues as their own- rather than blame others- are already ahead of the game. We all need to work on ourselves- all of us will have some emotional issues to deal with just like we all have some physical health issues and need to address them.
