Our guest today is KJS Dhillon, he is a retired General Officer of the Indian Army. He last served as the Director General Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff under the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) from 2020 to 2022.
In this very special episode, we spoke about the best aspects of the army, the reality on the ground, terrorism in Jammu & Kashmir, drone warfare & so much more.
In an age where American Marines and their British equivalents are celebrated all over the world, it is crucial that Indians get to know about our Commandos as well.
Thank you to all our brave soldiers, for their contribution to India! Jai Hind!!!
Hindi Episode: • Real Truth Of Pulwama ...
As a podcast host, I feel it is necessary to bring out the stories of the army. Personally, for me, it is an absolute pleasure to host and learn from the people in the defense forces. Keep expecting even more powerful army stories on the show going forward. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Sir but why suddenly things became out of control in 1989-90. Are you not ignoring the fact that there was constant radicalization that was drip fed to the Kashmiri muslims since the 1970's through places of worship, which finally led to a cataclysmic conclusion. So, failure to prevent a society's brainwashing was the main reason behind this violence and terrorism. So please also ponder who was responsible for this decades long radicalization.

Well, that's only one side of the coin. The General is not being totally unbiased about the reality of Kashmir here, but of course, he is an Indian general so has to go with his country's narrative. The truth is Kashmiris DO NOT identify themselves with India and feel closer to Pakistan. The reason is deeply rooted in Partition when Hindu Majority Areas went with India and Muslim Majority with Pakistan. However, Kashmiri Ruler acceded with India AGAINST its people's wishes and hence the freedom movement began. To this date, Kashmiri Students come to Pakistan for higher education rather than going to India because they don't feel safe there. There were so many Kashmiris with me in my University from Indian Occupied Kashmir.
So, Kashmir is not a military issue as portrayed by this general; it's a political issue recognized by the UN.
I believe Muslim Majority areas (Gilgit Baltistan & Kashmir Valley) should be given to Pakistan and Hindu Majority areas (Jammu and Ladakh) to India. That's how we can amicably solve the dispute and focus on the HR building in our respective countries. I hope sense prevails and people of the sub-continent move away from this war-enemy mindset and actually work on collaboration.

Ps: ask your govt why did they feel the need to Forcefully ban Kashmiri students' degrees obtained from Pakistan? Despite of all this, they are still coming here and studying? Clearly tells how much they're close with Pakistan.

& Kicked out all Hindus out of Kashmir.
They r terribly suffering even now.
We r not thinking abt thm but
we r interested n improving d condition of muslims n Kashmir.
    Remember sir
Educated muslims become more fanatic eg. U take all leaders of terrorist organisation.
If u educate a muslim he becomes
    most religious or fanatic,where as
If u educate a Hindu he becomes a
communist or liberando or n other
words leaves hs or hr religion.
Thisis d fact. Still Dhillon sir tells tht
people of Kashmir r nice even after

Obviously you are not aware that the British ruled only 60% of undivided India directly. The the remaining 40% were sovereign independent state's ruled by their own rulers. The British just gave them " protection " which is a bureaucratic way of saying we will not annex you.
This was in exchange for total loyalty to the British crown.
So in simple words, the kingdom of Jammu & Kashmir was a independent kingdom, which just like Tibet. Afghanistan & Nepal & wanted to be left alone. and the British had no authority to decide what they wanted to do or should do.
But then Pakistan decided to do a China ( before China) and in typical Pakistani style made a pig's meal of it, then India in typical Indian style made a dog's meal of it....

As a Pakistani, I understand that showing superiority over others is a big problem in the mood of the people of the subcontinent. Since 1947, Indians have been dreaming of dismemberment of Pakistan and Pakistanis want to wave their flag over India. And the people of both countries have been driven crazy by print and digital media. Cowardly officers like General Dhillon of the Indian Army know how to stay in the limelight by giving interviews on social media and narrating their false exploits. Indian forces are no match for keeping their Indian people happy by creating fake airstrikes stories. So it is better to come to the world of reality instead of false threats and improve your home.
