Yeap u sure do, so much love was shown in 1947 partition which was actually a partition between punjab not India or Pakistan. Then every time India further divided Punjab and that was not enough, 1984 was the year when Real love was shown, and from 1988 to 1993 40000+ young sikh men from ages 15 to 35 were picked up from their homes and brutally murdered, and in 2021 when Sikhs were called khalistani for just protesting for farm bills and had nth to do with khalistan yet those people were labeled as khalistani. Then after giving 90% sacrifices and you are still being called traitor then what more u want? How many slaps u really want on your face before you realize that india is not Sikhs Country.

Feel disturbed to see you having such feelings. Don't worry at all, the Sikhs are like the blood vessels of our nation & a very respectful community. Hindus in fact consider them as part of their very own family due to historical reasons, long time back the eldest son in a Hindu family would become a Sikh for the protection of Hindus in Punjab. The small community is considerably very large in the Defence forces & are a very respected lot. They are known for their hard work & jollyfulness. Salute to these bravehearts.

What a Shame that 19000 innocent hindus were killed by extremist Khalistani Sikhs and no one mentions them. PM Indira Gandhi was killed by Sikhs. Sikhs planned an unnecessary partition of India. Hated hindus for no reason. Targeting hindus and temples abroad. Hated India which gave them more than others for no reason. Sikhs opened fire on Indian Army which they were coming to capture Bhindranwale. Yet this Sikh community is just acting like a victim and abusing hindus till date which treated them like brother and gave Sikh community their eldest sons. Siding with Islamists and jihadi. Shameless and thankless they are. The most wanted criminals of India won't burn India's flag but Sikh community doesn't think twice about it. And he is saying Sikhs do not hate India. Congress was in power that time but they abuse Modi and BJP. Cos they simply hate hindus. Let's not fall in this sugar coated sentences of this podcast and accept the facts. For them Amritpal is a Sikh Soldier. And Hindus have this bad habit of falling in such traps. Those who think Sikhs saved Hindus. Need to go back to proper history and check. Hindus saved themselves. 1. Always address them as Sardar Ji. Never without a Ji. They are the most kindest warrior clan so we must give respect
    2. Even in worst of situation, look for Sardar ji, it would be most safe place under any circumstances!

@@thebrigadierscottageThe Akal Takht was designed by Guru Hargobind to be the place of congregation for the Sikh army. Bhindranwale saw himself and his comrades as an army for the Khalsa and were against the perceived injustices that the Indian government were involved in. We both know the Indian government is excellent at controlling media coverage and idolising their MPs all while hiding horrific crimes against humanity under the rug, and Bhindranwale saw that as injustice which must be eradicated as per the Khalsa’s function. Sikhs were free to decide whether they agreed with Bhindranwale or not.
However, when that government decided to barge into the the holiest place for ALL Sikhs in the world, a place steeped in religious history, and destroyed important architecture and killed hundreds, that was unacceptable.
Not only that, the Indian government also decided to instill disinformation campaigns across the country to villainise Sikhs, causing many more people to be burned alive on the streets and have their homes destroyed by rioters and police. That disinformation campaign has continued today, where now Sikhs are just called another type of Hindu, or warriors that were created to protect Hinduism, or even that the Gurus were regular Hindus because of things like Guru Tegh Bahadurs’ martyrdom. The atrocities committed against Sikhs have been censored by the government and then attempts have been made to merge Sikh culture in with the rest of Hindu culture to try and claim Sikh history as a broader Hindu history as well as hide the pain caused by the government. Do you see why a lot Sikhs hate the Indian government?

Sikhs always talk about 1984 riots. It was wrong and should not have happened. But it was not Hindu Sikh riot. It was clearly done by Congress and lead by someone who is a known Christian- it was not a Christian - Sikh riot either.
Every human life is precious. What about 35000 Hindus killed in Indian Punjab during decade of 1980-90? Why don't we ever talk about that? Binderwala and his goons removed Hindus from groups and killed all Hindus and not Sikhs and muslims. The count of 35000 includes kids and women too. Why is it that Hindu life is so cheap? While Hindus were killed in Punjab - NO SINGLE SIKH WAS EVEN TOUCHED OUTSIDE PUNJAB except when Indira Gandhi was killed. I never see anyone talk about the Hindu killings by SIKHS in Punjab- why?????

Sikhs never got justice for the riots which followed after Indira Gandhi's death. There was a deliberate campaign of terror across (mostly North) India to terrorize Sikhs and "teach them a lesson". None of the murderers or the instigators ever went to jail or even brought to trails. We Indians talk a big game like bad shit doesn't happen in India and pogroms and mass killings only happen in other countries. But we need to look inwards at ourselves and hang our heads in shame. For all that Sikhs have done for India, we screwed them over by not giving justice to the victims. It is a blot on India and I have no hesitation in stating that. All right thinking folks should demand, even today, justice for the Sikhs who were the victims of atrocities done to them, esp in New Delhi. I have close friends who are Sikhs and when I hear to stories of what happened to their families and the terror they faced, it is terrible. Not surprised that some Sikhs want Khalistan - we the silent majority pushed them towards that unfortunately.

What a Shame that 19000 innocent hindus were killed by extremist Khalistani Sikhs and no one mentions them. PM Indira Gandhi was killed by Sikhs. Sikhs planned an unnecessary partition of India. Hated hindus for no reason. Like they save themselves even till today. Modi arrested the main culprits of 1984 and gave CAA rights to Sikhs.. Still thankless.

In my opinion we must protest against the Congress government who never validated or acknowledged the happening of any incidences. Why make a different religion/ country of one of the most treasured community whose contribution to India is beyond recognition. Let's stay together and fight against the real culprits 😊

but he didn't even touch the topic How hundreds of Hindus were killed and lakhs forced to flee Punjab due to Sikh Terrorism...our neighbours relative also forced to run away from Punjab at that time and they stayed in our village for long time.
how Sikh Terrorist used to abduct girls and sexually harass them and how they made the Harmandir Sahib their safe sanctuary whr dy used to do all sorts of immoral and illegal things.
yet no sikh call out those sikh terrorist rather defend them and justify or simply reject the atrocities on Hindus just like muslims do when it comes to Hindus in Kashmir.
this is where problem lies as they don't want to accept their mistake but want others to apologise.

Wow! I have to say, I learnt a lot from this video!
And I understand the injustice that the Sikhs have faced after all the vital contributions they made for India's freedom struggle.
But let's not forget that the root cause of this violence was the poor leadership from the Congress Government at the time which is not in power anymore. And this was not the case only with the Sikhs: another very prominent religion in Kashmir was targeted and wiped out for their beliefs by a so called 'peaceful community' under the leadership of the Congress Government. This loss hasn't been reconciled either and we have learned to live with it and also learned from our mistakes.
So, I encourage the Hindu and Sikh community to not be diverted by certain attempts by other divisive groups. It is all a plot to make us relive our past misery.

Besides, there is no concrete evidence showing that ‘all’ Sikhs are connected to the ISI. We can, if we go by your logic, link every religious group with terrorists. I’m sure there are many Hindus who were convicted for their connections with terrorist groups. But clearly that doesn’t mean that all Hindus should be persecuted in their own country.

True, but lets not belittle the trauma by saying that hindus also suffered. of course it is indians who suffered because of the politics of the day from the congress, from the political leadership of the Akalis of those days and such. All these were making of the politicians, it takes time for healing and it is probably high time that we indians should address these greivances which will help heal at least something.

@Self Believe, I think you're misjudging the timelines here, Sikhism was born very recently out of Hinduism & prior to that it was Hindus who were constantly under Islamic onslaught!
Be it from the days of Delhi Sultanate - from Aibak to Khiljis to Tuglaqs to Lodis & later on Mughals, to slave trade Hindu Kush to fairly 700 years of persecution of Kashmiri hindus and how about Konkani Brahmins who were killed along the same lines as in 1984 by the Congress itself! (Just not clearly reported, doesn't make it any less of an autoctity). Should I remind of Mopilah? Or Noakhali?
      Or Operation Searchlight in Bangladesh?
You look around and you'd see two countries carved out just so they couldn't stand Pegan Hindus signts.
Do I need to remind you that Sikhis and Advaita vedanta similarity and how Sanatana Shastra are core to Sikhism because of the Hindu origin of it?
We all are intially persecuted because we stood for our Dharma and the Abrahamics are still on to us.
The difference is that Gurus don't see Hindus as different units but a sect along with it.
And the present, so called youth, due to identity politcs wish to make difference out of everything just to feel unique.

Further, as one brother has already said, the political history of the state has been (and still is) complex. The typical polar votebank phenomenon doesn't apply to the state of Punjab.
