I just spent 4 days creating my castle/mansion. I just spend 3 hours learning about the royal family and what their ranks mean, and now I think I'm ready to introduce the sims world to HRH Queen Clarice of Creek (bc I must start the line with a Queen Mother - Black Panther reference) and the Queen's consort King Pierre of Creek with their children Prince Valentine of Creek and HRH Princess Royal Bridgette.
I guess my biggest questions with creating a royal family - after seeing this - would be: What would you recommend for the lifespan? Do you have the game set so that the other royal family households age up while you're not playing them? If they do age while you're not playing them, how do you deal with... less desirable traits being rolled?
I am living for the intro, it looks great. Also George is a common name in England, names can vary from the country. Like Pierre is common in France, so it depends on where ur basing the royal family from. Also I started my royal family a while ago, there so many people, and I could barely keep track of them. Lol 😂
I'm glad you like the intro! And yes, the names are for sure very English! It is definitely hard to keep track of all the nobles, I usually just check in on all of them every once in a while!
And Willem or Amalia in the Netherlands. Alexandra, Alexander and Olga in Russia. Mary, Alice, Elizabeth, James, William, George, Edward and Henry in the UK. Lots of Louis's in France. Alberts in Belgium.
@@venusxaino Frederick in many Germanic countries (or Frederik/Fredrik in Scandinavia) Specifically, Karl and Fredrik were common King names I've seen for Denmark, Norway and Sweden when I looked up various countries monarch name's a while back.
I like the tiaras but they’re all a bit too alpha for my taste and it’s hard to find a hair I actually like with them so I’m going to have to find some cc hats to download instead for queens. But the Sims medieval conversion crowns for the kings looks really good on men. Even the queen’s crown, which clips really bad on women’s hair, looks really good on a male.

I've been working on a save file rebuilding the sims worlds in a medival/fantasy hodgepodge of periods with wars between the humans and vampires. It's saturated with CC and I've been having the time of my life rebuilding the game the way I see fit!!
I made an Alien - Elf royal family! I decided to make two female rulers. They have triplets! :D Two girls and one boy. Thank you for the inspiration! ❤ I'm so excited to start!! 💕
I was really inspired by Your Channel and now all i play Are royal families. I even started trying to get better at building in sims and made my very first palace/great house since it’s on a 40x30 (i think) plot called the royal blue palace. Thanks for the inspiration.

Now have my own build of westminser abbey with royal vaults, memorials and other things. most of my other families are peers and due to the repeated intermingling and marital alliance, are now related to the royal family in some way or the other.

Have u realized that all of ur sims are related some how because u have the Royal families have babies inside of the family like the Royal family of windenberg they have the royal family of brindleton bay that all of them are cousins the same with oasis springs and willow creek all of those are related except sulani.
Haha yes I know. Weirdly enough, that’s how most of the royals families in England and other countries are. Queen Elizabeth II’s husband is her distant cousin.
It is funny though some of the sims apart of the Royal families marry outside of the bloodline but others like the line to the throne marry in the bloodline
Thanks for this very informative and fun video Ms. Mira Rae! I'm enjoying this Sims 4's royalty mod but I'm kinda having a trouble with the titles. The titles disappear every time I restart the game. My Sims' title, KING, would change back to "Monarch" when I restart the game as well as the Prince and Princess etc. (By default they would change back to No Title). The titles that remain consistent whenever i restart the game are illegitimate royals, Crown Royal, Royal Servant & advisor. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or it's just a bug. I hope an update for this mod would fix the problem.
You can still do it in the sense that you can name them with their titles in the first name and choose the most formal clothes available in the packs you own but you won’t have as many options and will have to build the castle yourself 😬 if you have vintage glamour stuff pack (I think) you should be able to hire butlers and maids that you can assign to quarters
I have to say I love this video and your series is so fun and I can hardly wait to start my own I have almost everything ready just got to come up with a last night for one I am starting with two royal families but I am doing one and then my sister is doing the other the two families marry later just not until gen three and gen 4 is the one I am most excited about my new princess for that she is something else so excited for everyone to met her I have yet to actually start as I am waiting to get a computer and camera and mic to start and I have to buy the game as will
See, my problem is I’m a big alpha junkie and I can make sims all I want and the game runs fine but I HATE the gallery builds. Not because they aren’t beautiful (don’t get me wrong there are so many talented builders and glorious builds) but because I can’t deal with all the maxis match objects. So, even though I’ve been dying to do a medieval themed royal family, I never get around to do it cause I can’t build to save my life, can’t find an ALPHA medieval castle for them to live, and I’m picky about buildings. Some please make a medieval alpha castle! 😩

Instead of going to the first CC site that comes up, try to look into which ones are safe, and make sure you pay attention to which “Download” button you press. What sites are you getting your CC from right now?
My main advice: Don't download from adfly links period. Or if you're going to anyway, get an ad blocker for your browser. Simfileshare, media fire, and direct links on Patreon are all pretty safe. Watching CC haul videos is a good way to find good sites/blogs and to see what's out there. Most haul videos have links to the stuff, and it's usually safe unless it's an adfly link. But I would stick to tumblr blogs.
If you have the two royals family’s kids marry each other and then have children all the children will be cousins so what do you do? When there children have to marry.

Hello Mira! I just got the longer name mod. I did extract it and when I start the Sims I can see it in the modified box ( I am from Belgium so I have no idea how it is called in English..hehe ) But when I create a sim the mod will not work. Can somebody please help me?

You have to go to live mode and go to the cheats bar and type “rename”. It won’t work in CAS!
