Sorry if I mispronounced anything or if any facts aren't completely correct (you can blame the internet)! I tried to do as much research as I could in a short amount of time, but hopefully, this still helps you all figure out how to create a nobility system in your own game 😊💕
I really appreciate how you've been encouraging other people who want to play a royal family save! It's refreshing to see someone that kind of has this attitude of "Yeah, this is my thing I do on RUclips, but it's fun and you should do it too if you want to!" I think I'm not alone when I say you have more of a positive attitude than we see on RUclips a lot these days and I appreciate you and love your videos!
I think that Magnolia Promenade should be part of Willow Creek because it’s very Parisian/French inspired, I think that that Granite Falls could be part of Guang Xi because they both have the same vibe. Also you could make Newcrest like Russian or Scandinavian inspired. If you want it to be Russia you could do the sons and daughters of the Emperor could be Grand Duke and Grand Duchess. In Russia the nobility was Duke, Prince, Count, and Baron. So you could also make it Danish or Norweigan. Also I was wondering, how are the nobility in your world styled? Like in England a Duke is styles “your grace” and a prince is styled “royal highness”
I personally suggest making like a word document and writing everything about the kingdoms on there so you have it for future reference, because its more convient (it is for me atleast) although thats just how I do it on my save file, and its already confusing, and im only on the third generation! and thank you for pointing out how the nobility works, since after Leila (my heir to the throne of Windenburg in my save file) became queen I had to move out her siblings (her parents died from old age already) and I wanted to give them noble titles however I didn't really know how to give them titles so I just gave them random titles from the british nobility system: Duchess, Lord, and Knight. Now I think I got how the nobility works, although I do need to move them out of that house once the Lord and Knight age up into young adults and have all three of them have their own house with their signifigant other (lets just say the twin brothers have crushes on commoners hehehehe) Love chu! :3 still a huge thank you for pointing out how nobility works.
I loved what you said about having non-heir kids and grandkids be the first earls/dukes. It really made things simple to start off my save forevever ago and now all my nobles (and most commoners) are descended from the first sims I made. 😎
I’m making a save file like lilsimsie and plumbella and making a royal family so every time I play, I’ll have one at the start even if they’re NPC. Because why not? I like the idea of a townie royal family. I’m debating whether or not to add nobility. I might just pretend well off families like the Goths and Landgraabs are nobility.
Courtney Swartz that is what I did with my gameplay haha... but instead of the actual Goths and Landgraabs getting the title... I sorta just made them old and have their children marry someone from the gallery and made them nobles... cuz I don’t want the OG adult sims to be in my royal gameplay hahah and plus I want good looking children my royal families can get married to have gabe beautiful children 😂
henryng ng True about not wanting townie genes in my family lol. But as much as I want sexy princes in my game, most of the actual British royals aren’t lookers so that’s not going to be too important. I’m also editing some townies so I plan to have my heir marry the daughter of Johnny Zest (renamed Jonathan Landgraab) and Summer Holiday. She won’t look too bad if I edit Summer’s big eyes. If I ever get around to playing. Right now I’m micromanaging all of the lots and townies and remodeling my palace. I got the idea from Simsie’s Save but she doesn’t edit residential lots and it’s bugging me. So I’m doing it myself. We’ll see if I ever get around to actually playing! Been doing this for months and then taking breaks. Edit: I’ll probably delete Alexander Goth completely and make them a totally new Alexander Goth because he’s just so ugly and if he’s the heir to Goths, I can’t have that 😂
I made Magnolia Promenade part of Newcrest. In my world rename thing I'm making (mine is more indepth than the mod I found, I wanted to change the story text too lol) I have Newcrest named as the Duchy of Elowen S (for South) and Magnolia Promenade is Duchy of Elowen N (for North). They're Duchies cause they are ruled by Dukes, and the Duchies are united under the Kingdom by a single monarch. Sulani is excluded its it's own Kingdom out there in the ocean lol
@@Dennisvandendries i have the same feeling if anything its gonna be a trial/test/or experience for the upcoming royals to go through in order to pass.
Thanks for this lol Now I know what to do for my game. When I came across your series I got so excited and created my own royal family. This video helps a ton!
Paul R I think that San Myshuno and Del Sol Valley are probably just big cities without royals and Newcrest doesn’t really have much to go on, but it could be cool to have a Newcrest family.
Me: OH MY GOSH this is amazing I should start a royal family Also me: already has like a millions series 😂😂😂 I love how informative your videos always are! I am a bit behind on your series but I really love the royal family :)
Im a history lover not historian but you are practically right. Older children (Males if existent) got the titles but if no males and just females they would inherit the money and noblemen would intend to be wed with them for their inheritance. But yes from the High Nobility to the lower nobility.
Maybe you can have a royal family of Stranger Ville and Harmony can be the first Queen, but you can base it as if the Glemerbrooke royal family tried to take over Stranger Ville, But Stranger Ville Stood strong and sayed independent so Glemerbrooke cursed Stranger Ville to where the people of Stranger Ville turn to a zombie like creature and the royals try to stop the curse of their kingdom. If you do this Stranger Ville can be based off of the kingdom of Moor from the movie sleeping beauty.
You're right about the Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Sussex. Duke of Cornwall, though, is a secondary title of the British heir (so currently, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales). In Britain, male children and grandchildren of the monarch are given a ducal title upon marriage, most recently Prince Harry who was made Duke of Sussex in 2018.
Can you please start a royal family for New Crest! I love this series and support it all the way. This series inspired me to create my own royal family, but I started in Owasis Springs. Btw I have King Iil, Queen Radahia, Prince Immanuel, and the new born Princess Jasmaine.
I pre filmed a bunch of videos before I posted the last video and I am posting a poll today to see what people want to be called so it probably won't be till sometime next week when I start calling you guys your nickname! :)
Theplumtree app can have link for your families. Like if you married out your sims, you can link them back to their old family. So when you publish we can just click on the link and go back to the sim family before they got married or move over to another world!
From what I understand in the British royal/noble system, if a princess were to marry a Marquess (I'll use Princess Belle and Windenburg as an example) then her title would be Her Royal Highness Princess Belle, Marchioness of Windenburg (Anyone can correct me if that is wrong!). That's just way too long to put in my game, so I would just make her Marchioness Belle of Windneburg after she got married and then I can see from the family tree that she was born a princess. Hope that helped!
@@JuliaJassova As I mentioned in my 1st reply, they are still a princess/prince (not a consort), it's just too long of a title to keep princess or prince in my sims' titles. They would only become a prince/princess consort if they were not already a prince or princess and they married a queen or prince by blood!
@@MiraRaeSimmer so if low born married princess then they (low born) would become consort. But if noble married princess they would still be the same? Or would they become price?
Hi! I have a question since I wanna make my own royal family. What would the a child’s title be if there parents were a: Marquess + Marchioness, a Earl + Countess, Viscount + Viscountess, Baron + Baroness.
Yea but I just want to say that noble titles such as duke and baron etc in real life are not given to families with good backgrounds such as Duke Victor and Duchess Lily.... these titles, you’d have to be born into it... the only title that is give that is not blood inherited are Sir and Dame... it’s for people who have contributed in any way shape or form to the country.... just giving out info so people don’t get confused haha love your videos!!
It's more common to be borne into a title, however England’s monarch can give any type of title out (for example the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) and the person receiving the title does not need to be royal.
Would the spouse of the Duke, who inherited his title, be Duchess *Consort* or just Duchess? I don't know if Consort is only used by Royals or by Nobles too? 😬
Not saying you're way isn't good but when there is no longer a oldest male in a noble family the title will become extinct but if there is a relative can inherit the title this will make them the noble of both of those places for example: the earl of willow creek had no male hires the earl of oases springs could be the earl of willow creek and the earl of oases springs also they don't have to be related to inherit the can fight for the title or the ruler of that kingdom can give it to a noble family or make a completely different family a noble or a important person. I am passionate about royal history so if you want to now anything just ask
